Hi,

Sorry it has been so long between posts. Beth has been in the hospital for 27 of the last 30 days. We came home today, but she is not doing well. Her latest chemotherapy has not been effective leaving her bronchial tubes almost closed by the tumors.

The doctors decided to try radiation on the lungs in an attempt to open the bronchial tubes and give her a change to get additional chemotherapy. We have hospice involved because her general condition has really deteriorated.
I feel so, so sorry for Beth, there is little I can do to make her feel better.

I will post again soon.

I don't really know your history here and have never spoken with you but my heart is breaking anyway..... I know what it's like to watch somebody suffer from Cancer (My mom - breast cancer - diagnosed at stage 4)

DO what you can to make her comfortable, continue to show your love an dsupport BUT - please don't forget to take care of yourself. Best of luck - I hope a miracle comes your way.

Just seeing this now, Jim. It is hard to fathom how fast her disease has progressed. You know we're praying, and keeping your entire family close in our hearts every day, especially your little guy. My mother offers her rosary up for Beth every night. There is a man I saw at a healing mass last year, his name is Ivan ___ and he is one of the people who, as a child, saw the vision of Mary at Medjugorje. He still sees the vision every day at 4pm. I am going to try to find his email address and ask him to ask Mary for special blessings and intervention for Beth (ETA - done).

Please give Beth a big hug from her sistas.
