Minnie van to beach club without reservation?

We are having dinner at Topolino’s then planning to head to Epcot, the World Showcase side. Unfortunately my husband has a fear of heights and can’t do the Skyliner. Could we take a Minnie van from Topolino’s to the Beach Club to walk into the World Showcase? Or do we need a reservation at the Beach Club to have a van take us there?
