My DD's (16 and 14) and I just decided last night to participate in the Minnie Marathon in May 2007.
I would love to get to know others who are planning on participating as well. I have never done anything like this and I'm kinda nervous. I just started running, but walk 5-7 miles a day. Any tips or suggestions on training for a 10K run would be appreciated.

) half marathons, I've found I really like doing the 15K distance. It's far enough to be challenging, but not so far that it seems like too much. I've noticed in both previous halves and in training for this one, after about 10 miles, I get tired. The 15K is perfect since I never get that far!
