Minnie & friends question

We are staying offsite, we will have MM entry, but do not want to use MM entry to go to Minnie and friends. I have 2 questions

1. From searching threads on this forum, it appears that we *can* book an ADR for a time during MM, even if we do not use our MM entry - is this correct? I saw something about heading to a tapstyle to the left and there would be a checklist with our names on it?

2. Assuming the answer to #1 is yes, what time will they let us into the park to go to the ADR, given that we wouldn't be using MM entry? Right now we have a Minnie and friends breakfast booked for 9:30am on an MM morning, park opening likely 10am (Nov isn't released yet) Would they let us in at 9:10/9:15ish?

Agree. But I would say if possible move your breakfast time up to 9:10 (earliest). They'll let you in right at 9:00 when they open the park. This will get you out of the breakfast closer to actual park opening so you can enjoy an hour or so of lighter crowds. As a rule of thumb, the later the park opens the busier the first hour of the park is. It's much easier for people to make it to the park for a 10am opening than an 8am opening.

Agree. But I would say if possible move your breakfast time up to 9:10 (earliest). They'll let you in right at 9:00 when they open the park. I tried to get a 9:10am ADR, but there were none available for my dates. I guess I took a little too much liberty with not booking at 60 days We're at 50 days or so right now, and looking monday-thursday of our trip (days 4-7 of an 8 day trip), a 9:30 breakfast is the earliest I've found online for 5 people (4 adults, 1 child).

ETA: I checked again just now and I was able to find a 9:20 reservation..so I changed the 9:30 to 9:20. I'll keep checking for a 9:10, but still none of those showing online.

Agreed. I would be at the gate right at or a little before 9.

Yes. You can enter the breakfast turnstyle at the same time as they open the gates for the mm. You can go right to the restaurant to get started on breakfast. We have been seated just a minute after opening.

Yes definitely. We are AP holders and stayed offsite Sept.12th so no EMH/MM and were let in promptly at 7am. Make sure you are at the "CHARACTER BREAKFAST" turnstile. It is located closest to DTD for reference.

If the preferred time isn't showing up keep checking as things open up all the time. Good luck and it's absolutely fantastic.

Thanks! I already have the ressie and figured that was the first one! I plan to be at that gate a little before 7, if I can get the two 9 year olds moving in the am! LOL
