...is GAT the cheapest place to get tickets for the Minnie & Friends breakfast at Plaza Inn? i wanted to do this character breakfast during our december trip...i'll need 2 adult tickets...

thoughts?:confused3

do you have to buy tickets for this ahead of time?? We have reservations for our trip in December.

The GAT tickets are $26.50/adult (including tax and tip) that are good for any of the character breakfasts (this is actually more of a deal for the Goofy's Kitchen, which is more expensive).

AAA is just a 10% discount. We found GAT to be cheaper for us. We are going November 19-26. What's great about GAT for Goofy's is it is the same voucher for brunch or dinner. So it's a real savings at dinner.

Actually, when I called the other day, they quoted me $26.50 for the character breakfasts and $35 for dinner at Goofy's.

If I recall, since your an AP holder you will automatically get a 10% discount. When we booked our trip, we got vouchers in advance (we did 2 character meals) for 3 of us and then I paid for myself using my AP discount at the door. Im pretty sure it was 10%.

Crappy thing is that I forgot to use my AP discount at every other place we ate!! We could have saved about $30 on all of our other dining!! Ugh! :headache:

Sorry - the GAT Goofy's Dinner vouchers are $35/adult, not the same as the brunch price.

I had vouchers from my Costco Travel Package when I booked with them, so the Minnie Breakfast was free with the vouchers.

oh I didnt even think about the 10% we will save with AP. :thumbsup2

so did i read right? there's a $10 handling fee with GAT???? i guess my AP discount would be better! :thumbsup2

....minnie's breakfast or goofy's? which one is better? if you say goofy's...then breakfast or dinner? which one is better?!?! :confused3

I think Goofy's is better in terms of food, but Minnie's is actually in the park. Goofy's has a larger variety of food, and it was excellent. We haven't been back to Minnie's since we discovered Goofy's. We've only been for breakfast though.

How early can you go to Goofy's? About how long will it take a family of four to eat there and enjoy the breakfast and interactions? We like to hit the park early so it may be better to go for dinner. Do you get a discount with a deluxe pass? How early can you go to Minnie and Friends?

I don't know what time Minnie's starts seating/serving, but I THINK Goofy's starts at 7:00 a.m. They may start seating earlier during peak seasons, though, so don't take my word for it. I think the Deluxe AP gets you 10% off and the Premium AP gets you 15% off of the Goofy's and Minnie's meals. My Premium really came in handy getting discounts on meals all throughout the DLR! It adds up!

Please explain,

what are GAT tickets
is this linked to annual passes?

thank you oh wise and helpful disers... :worship:

I have never used GAT (GetawayToday.com) but no, they are not related in any way to Annual Passes. It is a separate thing entirely.

I have only been to Minnies breakfast and Goofys dinner. We did both on our last trip as well as the trip before.

Hands down, I would say Goofys Kitchen for dinner. I was so overwhelmed with the selection and the quality was great. We had priority seating right at 5pm, so we got in rather quickly and the dinner crowd was minimal.

Breakfast at Minnies was....okay. Basically your garden variety of danishes and carbs along with hashbrowns, eggs, omelets, ham, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, french toast...you get the idea. Im not sure if it was every table or just the one we were sitting at....but it was REALLY dirty. And I dont mean it just needed to be wiped down...it was built up in the cracks and crevices. In need of some serious pressure washing...kinda icked me out. At least with Goofys they put paper table cloths on so you cant scope out the dirtiness.
