Arrived in WDW yesterday. Autistic teen son wants to get some Minnie ears. I think we should let him get some (and he's using his spending money) but husband calmly spoke to me (not in front of our son) and said he doesn't think we should let him. What would you do?
 

Of course, get him the Minnie ears! It’s Disney. Heck, all us girls were wearing Mickey ears long before they came out with the Minnie headbands. Then take your hubby drinking around the world at Epcot. Sounds like he needs a stiff drink to calm his nerves.
 
Nobody will judge you. Nobody is watching any of you and you will never see any of them again so who cares if they do. If your son is happy then that is all that matters.
I disagree (partly). Yes. Someone will probably judge a male for wearing Minnie ears. BUT...
A) 99% chance they will not say anything.
B) As mentioned, you won't see these people again.

So, I agree if that's what he wants, let him.
