I am contemplating whether to buy myself some minnie ears to get into the spirit when we go. Is this a common thing for adults to wear these. Can anyone suggest any real nice ones that would look good on an adult. I have been on e-bay and saw many styles. As of now the gold sequined ones look very nice, any other suggestions?

My sister and I went to DisneyLand in January for my 35th Birthday. She is 37. I bought us both a set of Minnie Ears(the headband with the red bow/white polka dots). We wore them the ENTIRE TRIP!!! We loved them!!!!

If you want to wear mouse ears....GO FOR IT!!!!

I have those same ears and DD15 tries to wear them, but they are MINE(and I don't want to share:cool2: )

I have some. Dd and I have matching ears. We have the black headband with black ears and red and white bow. I didn't wear them as much on the last trip just because they give me a headache, but I love to get into the spirit. DH has the Fantasia Mickey ears. I think we got ours from the Disney Store on clearance right after Halloween.

I'm 3? years old (way up there!) and I have a pair of the sequined headband ones with the red bow - LOVE them! Wore them the entire day i got them - and yes I have the pics to prove it! Plan to wear them on my next trip too! Just can't decide if I should get my DSis a pair or go all out and get all the girls tiaras!:yay:

I say go for it! What ever gets you in that magical mood, who care what your age is.

I wear my ears every day in the parks, every time we go...I have to upload my photos, but then I'll post them.

The ones on a headband hurt my head after a while, so I buy the hats with the chin strap so they stay in better. Sometimes they are labeled infant or child size, but they fit fine with the strap. I have a pink leopard print ears on a headband, a gold ear hat from DL 50th, and the regular black ears with my name on the back. I always get comments from the characters and CMs.

I'm 27 with 2 kids, by the way :rotfl2:

My husband and I always wear ears when we are in the park. Our toddler hated wearing his though! :confused3 On this last trip I got the classic style ears but the hat portion was magenta with flowers on it. They were on clearance for $4.99! :woohoo: I also got a set of barretts that have an ear and a red and white polka dot bow on each one. I pulled my hair back on each side and had Minnie's ears! They were great because it was very windy the day I wore them. My hat would have went flying!

Wear some ears and be proud of them! :thumbsup2

i wore my daughters ears...she wouldnt wear them ....so i did!!

Once upon a time, years back when DD was about 7, we went to the park on a hot day. DD wanted to leave immediately, but it was too late $$. She was in a mood and I wasn't happy about that..
DH bought us all ears to wear and ever since, we never leave our room without our ears and we are always happy at Disney World.

the end.

If you get them in the parks you can even get your name embroidered on the back. Almost everyone wears a hat of somekind in Disney. Durring our last trip in 2005 my inlaws came with us. Both in their seventies. MIL wore a princess hat with mouse ears. FIL wore a goofy hat with the long ears. Somehow we are all kids when at Disney.

I have three hats...Sorcerer Mickey, Santa Mickey and Santa Minnie (same as Mickey's but w/ a bow)...and I've worn them all over the parks.

I REALLY want the pink sparkly princess hat w/ the minnie ears and the long pink tulle coming off the top... but they only make them for kids and PETS!!! No adult versions!

I think dd and I will get some matching headband type hats this summer. A regular hat will be too hot in July.

One of my favorite WDW hats ever was my Figment hat I had as a teenager. It was purple and had Figment's face and ears on it. My sister had a matching Donald Duck hat.

I want some of those Minnie/Mickey christmas ears. I tried to find some online to buy before I get to DW in December but couldn't. Does anyone know where I can get some? Will I have to wait until I get there?

Not only did I wear Minnie Ears, I wore the ones that are like a princess hat with the little ears coming out of it. I wore that during the day. At night it was my light up flashing princess tiara...oh yes I am oh so cool!:rotfl: Outside of Halloween, where else are you gonna actually get to walk around like a kid? Enjoy yourself, go all out!

The chin straps are elastic bands right? They don't bother you? We bought hats on our first trip but they wouldn't stay on. :sad1:

Love the pictures! How did you get the hat to stay on? I'm thinking hats are a great way to have no bad hair day worries. :rotfl:

It was a child's hat, so it was tight. I just pulled it down and it stayed.
