Has anyone used the minnieclub? it says for little ones but no mention of age or cost. And are the PLay leaders English? I can not find much info on it, but sure the answer may be here. Thanks:laundy: :laundy:

if you have a look at the trip report section at the top there are a few people just back from the dlh i know there was a mention of minnies club in there

I think it is free for guests of DLH and children have to be over 3. I cant remember the upper age but when I asked for information a while ago I remember that DD (9) would be OK to go in

Please help me, I can not locate the trip reports? sorry to be daft but then my name is Dumbo Deb!!!:laundy: :laundy: :laundy:

It's free and for ages 4-11. DH had a look but said it was pretty small. We didn't bother using it because they wouldn't have taken our youngest. It is open from 3pm - 10pm and the maximum stay is 2hrs. HTH.

i just had a look at what i could see was that it has a tv, soft play area, arts and crafts and disney video games. hth sorry there werent any pics

Hi , it is quite small, it has three small rooms as Mommy2ash said I. It was run last week by Elodie who was French , but spoke English quite well.

Children can be play there with parents or left , signing in and out forms to be completed. You have to be Hotel Guests and they prefer mobile number to be left if you are leaving the hotel.

We left ours for 30 mins one evening for a quiet drink and I played with my little girl for another half an hour on a different evening. When we were there it was quite quiet, I dont know what the staff ratio is or if once they have so many children without parents they cant allow any more to be dropped.

There is no charge

It is on the ground floor ,very near the Pool which itself is in its own room with double doors overlooked by a Spa reception desk which was always manned when we were there. I didnt have any safety concerns the children seemed to well contained in the rooms.

plutosothergirl you were exactly who i was looking for lol

My daughter used the Minnie Club during our last stay in October 08. She had a great time. However I was rather cautious about leaving her. Although the rooms had entrance and exit doors the entrance was open when we arrived. The handles were low down (not out of childrens reach). It is located very near to the swimming pool - I saw no staff near the pool area when we went for a look around. The club was manned by one staff member but because of the layout he could not have an overview of all rooms at all times (although he was lovely with the children and my daughter took to him straight away).

I'm a nursery teacher and used to doing risk assessments sometimes I cant switch off. I decided to stay nearby at the seating area beside the swimming pool and read a magazine so I could keep checking on her.
