Minnie and Friends for Breakfast? Or Goofy's Kitchen?

I was wondering which would you choose? Minnie and Friends for Breakfast or Goofy's kitchen? We've been to Goofy's kitchen and LOVED it? How does Minnie's compare?

I think if you like the character interaction at Goofy's with all the dancing and games, etc. Goofy's is definitely the way to go. If you wouldn't mind breakfast being toned down a bit, you would like Minnie's. While we saw more characters at Minnie's, it wasn't as rambunctious (SP) as Goofy's gets.

We liked Goofy's better then Minnie's this last visit. It also depends on the characters you want to see. We took the boys to character meals this last trip and they were able to get everyones autograph and pic they wanted. It saved us alot of time waiting in the lines at the Park. We went to Minnie's, Goofy's and Chip and Dales. I would rate Goofy's first, Minnie's 2nd and Chip and Dale's Last. Goofy's had a better assortment for kids also we thought. We also went to the Princess lunch too and that was nice. They got to meet all the princesses

I vote Minnie's. I LOVE dining outside in the park. The food is really good and the Character interaction has always been good when I've gone.

Ariel's Grotto is also still serving breakfast in you'd like a Princess meal.

Both give a 10% AAA discount- love that. But for breakfast, I wouldn't leave the park, especially in the morning. We always do Minnie's on a MM morning at get the last seating- around 10:30. We can really maximize or ride time.
We do Goofy's for dinner. We think their dinner is a much better value than breakfast and you can get a "grown up drink" if you wish!

Does Minnie's have seating prior to park opening?

On some days. If it's a MM day, then no. They have had seatings one hour before park opens in the past

The breakfast with Minnie and friends has better food but it is more calm and relaxed.
I personally enjoy Goofy's Kitchen.

Can you eat at Minnie's if you don't have a park ticket for that day? I'm thinking of going the day we're leaving for San Diego.

I would highly doubt it. If you could, there would be no way for them to know that you weren't "allowed" in the park after you leave the restaurant.

Those are the only two character breakfasts we've done. I liked Minnies A LOT more. We had the first seating and still the character intereraction was SO much better than Goofys. All the characters interacted with each other and the kids. It was a blast. I have some great pics of it in my trip report...link is in my signature.
