Minnie and Friends Breakfast Question

My DD and I have a PS reservation for b.fast at 10:00. The park opens at 9 am, though it is an early entrance day (8am) for hotel guests. My question is this.....we will arrive at the park just after 9 and were hoping to take advantage of the morning for a few rides and then dine at Minnies around 10:30 for more of a brunch. The CM informed me that I should go no later than 10 as they accept PS until 10:40 but she thinks it is too late and that the characters leave right at 11:00. Anyone have experience with this? General reviews would be appreciated as well! Thanks.

We had a PS for 10:20 and had a ton of character interaction. We saw Minnie, Chip & Dale, Capt. Hook, Fairy Godmother SEVERAL times at our table and other charcters as well. They kept coming around and spent quality time with our kids. I think that time frame was great! I would probably do that time again without hesitation. So unless things have changed since we went in 2008, the character interaction was very great!!!

We had a 10:30am reservation but didn't get there till close to 11am *DD's BBB visit ran long* the restaraunt was empty of guests but full of characters, they spent so much time with us - it was great.

I'm another one that had a 10:30 seating and had plenty of character interaction! And this was less than a month ago. The CMs on the phone are probably just working from a script and don't know what it's really like there. I think the later seating is better because like the PP said, the restaurant empties out but the characters are still there; plus, you can have a filling brunch and then snack until dinner (which is probably why they want you going earlier - so you buy breakfast, lunch, AND dinner in the park!).
