Minnesota posters-a question

Anyone live in Hastings or the 196 district (Rosemount especially)? I am looking for general information about the schools. If you do, could you PM me or post here. We may be moving to one of these districts and are trying to figure out which one. Thank you!

I don't live around there but have you gone to www.greatschools.net? You can get test scores and compare schools to your current school at that website. I found it useful when we moved back here.
Test scores aren't everything though. Will you have a chance to tour a few schools before you move?

The State of Minnesota has all that info on their website, too. I do like that website. You can only tell so much from test scores. I also want some hands on info, especially things like how popular certain activities are, like band (I know Rosemount has a very popular music/band program). We won't be moving until the end of the school year so we will have time to tour some of the schools.
