Minivan or Full Size SUV

Needless to say we own neither so I have no idea what would be the better choice for our drive from Delaware to WDW... Either for Gas consumption or comfort/roominess... Keep in mind it'll be - Me, DH, DS16, DS10 & two dogs...

National - Full Size SUV (GMC Envoy XL) 10 days at $460.xx
Avis - Minivan (Chevy Uplander) 10 days at $535.xx

What would you do?!

I drive the Uplander for work.It drives nice I do between 50 and 200 miles everyday with it.
One thing nice (not sure on rental) is it had 2 captian chairs in the 2nd row.We remove all seats in ours for our parts but for a while I had just one of the 2nd row seats removed and it opened that area up very nice (might be good for the dogs to lay down).

Sorrry but as comp.pays I don't pay much attention to the gas .

Have a nice trip I've driven from (well was a passenger) twice from MD and will never do it again but it's not that bad of a drive.
