Does anyone know if you can 'bring your minister with you'? :teeth:

I know that Disney will permit a minister from outside of the ones that they reccommend. But does anyone know if the minister has to be from florida? Do they have to be licensed in florida to perform a wedding?

Thanks!

I've been reading this site for some time, but have never tried to ask a question. My daughter is considering an intimate wedding next year. If she brings her own minister, does he count as one of her 8 guests? Thanks for any information you can give me.

I don't believe so but that would be a good question for your event manager. I guess it would also depend on if they will be attending any parties afterwards. Sorry I can't be of more help.

We brought our own minister with us for our wedding over 8 years ago and since he attended our reception, he was considered a guest. We had 50 people at our wedding. We did not count the photographer/videographer as guests although we bought them sandwich plates. The minister was different since he was our pastor from our church and his wife and son were also in attendence.
