Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere or is blatantly obvious but can anyone tell me the minimum age you must be to check into any of the three onsite resorts (PPH, DLH, GCH)?

I had not seen anything on the Disney sites but when I was looking on one of the third party booking sites it said 21... Being from Australia it's annoying (but totally understaning!) that many places need you to be 21 to check in (especially as I am not 21) but I have a list ones that say 18.

So basically just asking if the age is actually 21.
Thanks

I believe you have to be 18, have a valid photo ID, and a credit card in your name. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

For the record, when I went for our honeymoon we almost weren't allowed to check in. Everywhere we read said 18 for check in for our hotel. When we got there it was 21. We were married at 20. DH was 4 months from 21. We called GetAwayToday and they called up the hotel and talked them into allowing us to stay. It is SUPER annoying, I agree! Vegas was IMPOSSIBLE that trip. We had to stay off the strip!!!

Call the hotel. Explain what's going on. Tell them you're from another country and are having a hard time understanding the reasoning. I have a feeling you could sweet talk them into allowing it.

IT SUCKS! I am SO SORRY you have to go through this. It almost ruined our honeymoon!

I traveled a lot when I was young and never had problems as long as I qualified for the above. 18 with a valid goverment ID, and credit card. And 21 in Las Vegas.

Perhaps I wasn't clear. My problem WAS in Anaheim. The hotel said it was 18 online and told the travel agency such. When we got there we were told 21. :) And yes, we did have 'all of the above' with us

Vegas ended up NOT being a problem because I looked online for a few months and found a couple of hotels who did allow you to be 18.

Sorry for the confusion.

Last year my brother (18) was able to check in to PPH and had no issues at all. But when we went to Vegas after our Disneyland trip I had to check in because he had to be 21. I would call the Disneyland Resort hotels in which you are looking to stay and make sure before you book though.

When in doubt, call the hotel and ask them. I never had a problem checking into the hotels in Anaheim before I turned 21.

Technically it's 21, but idk if they would allow you to check in at 18. I'm 18 and I've been looking around at the Harbor hotels for me and my friends in a couple weeks and a lot say 21...fortunately the Del Sol says 18. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone! EmmersIsTheMommy I'm glad your story had a happy ending, that would have been a very upsetting way to start your honeymoon. I'll keep the hotels on my list, but by the time I can afford this trip I'll probably be 21 anyway! haha thanks again :)
