I know at Disney they say 7 to ride alone, is there a set age to ride alone at universal? We went in April and bought annual passes. Dh had to ride all the 3d rides with my children. They make me very ill. Well we are going to Disney tomorrow for 2 weeks, and planning a few visits to universal. Trying to see if my children will be able to ride without my husband. When I tried googling it looked like just a minimum height requirement of 48"? But I could have sworn they made me ride the alien spin ride back in the Simpsons with ds back in April?

Eta I guess I forgot to put the important fact, that I just found out that Dh can't go on the trip with me, and we are leaving in the morning.

thank you! i hate that at disney its 7, i have no desire to go on star tours with youngest ds:(

48" at least, but of course they also have to hit the minimum of the ride if it's higher than that.

Yes- 48". My daughter was measured several times when she went on rides two years ago there, since she was exactly 48" with sneakers.

It is 48" to ride alone but 14 years old to ride as a companion to a small child. for example, Your kid may be 54" but if he is not 14 years old, then he cannot ride Flight of the Hippogriff with your child that is 40".
