minimum age to register at resort?

i would like to give my niece a dvc trip in the future - must she be of a certain age to register at a dvc resort?

this trip is just part of the 'aunt mary scholarship fund' that was started 4 1/2 yrs ago when her older sister went off to college; the fund will expire in 3 1/2 yrs - or sooner if i wind up in the poor house!

funny story:
family is standing in line waiting to move into college dorm; other family admires computer setup given my niece as an 'off to college gitf'; sister comments that it was provided by the 'aunt mary scholarship fund'; other woman asks where she can get an application for her son! sister replies that there is a very limited candidate pool for funding!

what the hey! the kids are great kids - and this aunt is only going this way once! i love watching them enjoy everything they get!

It is 18 at DVC but for those contemplating trading out, DCL, CC, etc; the rules vary and can be as high as 25 at some of the resorts. Many are at least 21.
