Of the different Miniature Golf courses, which one would you recommend and why? My DW has wanted to do them for quite some time, and we are going to go play a round or two in a few weeks.

Any info is appreciated!

Thanks!

We prefer Winter-Summerland to Fantasia Gardens. Fantasia Gardens is harder. We aren't very good golfers! :rotfl:

Also, if you are using WDW Transportation during your trip, it is much easier to get to Winter Summerland, as it is adjacent to Blizzard Beach. You can take the BB bus easily (just make sure you golf while BB is open).

To go to Fantasia, you have to take the Swan/Dolphin bus and walk, and it's not too easy, although I know people who have done it.

Hope that helps!

Wow. I never thought of that. Thanks for the great tip!

We did Fantasia and enjoyed it. I guess it is hard, but I'm terrible at miniature golf so it's all hard to me. The difficulty didn't stop us from having fun though, and the themeing is neat.

I think Fantasia also has a par 3 if you're interested.

For normal Putt-putt we like Winter/Summerland best. However at Fantasia, I think the Fairways course, is a nice variation to the game. We like that one when we want a little more challenge. Although DW always seems to beat me no matter which course we are on.

My DH calls Winter/Summerland mini golf...."toliet bowl" golfing. If you get the ball remotely close to the hole, it will eventually spiral in. Perfect for me :thumbsup2 . My DS's 7,6 and 3 loved it!!!

We love Fantasia Gardens. The Fairway course is a little harder, but really fun. We (3 adults) found that because it was harder there were fewer families with small children playing on that side, and that was perfect for us. We walked over from the BCV and enjoyed our stroll over and back.

For Fantasia Gardens- how crowded is it Sat/Sun evenings? How long have you waited to start? Also, is there a snack bar there?

Dh and I love all 3. If I remeber correctly if you play a second round of golf on the same day it is 1/2 price with proof of the first round played. This works out great with WinterSummer land since there are the 2 courses right there. Now we did this back in 2000. Can anyone confirm that this discount is still available?

On Monday morning, January 22, My DH and I will probably be having breakfast at The Yacht Club. I want to go over to Fantasia Gardens right after breakfast. ( about 11am. )

OK - follow me ....... We will leave the Yacht Club, and use the walkway that leads to The Dolphin. Then we reach The Swan. Exactly how do we get To Fantasia Gardens from there ? And how long does it take to get there?

Thanks! I sure hope it is OK to add to this thread this way. It *IS* on topic, though.

I vote for Fantasia. I'm not good at miniature golf and didn't find it hard at all.

Then we reach The Swan. Exactly how do we get To Fantasia Gardens from there ?

Walk across the street.

is there a snack bar there?

They sell chips and candy and there are soda machines. I don't recall a formal snack bar (but may have missed it).

I can't remember what day of the week we went, but I can tell you it was an evening during the summer when everything is a little more crowded. There was one family in front of us and maybe 1 or 2 more on the entire course. Not bad at all.

I was going to say exactly the same thing! Winter-summerland is fun.
