Mini Wedding Cakes...where to get them?

My soon-to-be hubby and I are going to WDW for our honeymoon in July. I'd like to order one of the mini wedding cakes for us to enjoy in our room as a quiet, relaxing treat toward the end of our trip.

Can this be done? How? Cost?

Any info you can provide is more than welcome.

I saw the cakes on the travel channel 2 nights ago and they look FABULOUS!!!

They are made by the GF bakery and as far as I know they are only available to enjoy at the GF (in room dining, at one of their restaurants or for a wedding).

I paid $25 for mine to be delivered to our dinner at 1900 Park Fare.

I think I might have read that someone was able to get it at one of the deluxe home away from home's by calling their in-room dining. It might have been Beach Club. I'm not sure though.

So either you can get it at GF or you can try and call your resort's in-room dining and see if they can arrange it but it would only be possible at a deluxe or a resort with Conceirge.

I believe you can only get the wedding cakes at the GF bakery. You can only have it delivered to your room if you are staying at the resort. Otherwise, you can get it delivered to any of their restaurants. I am ordering mine for our honeymoon in October and having it delivered to Narcoossee's since we are having dinner there.

Since you are staying at the WL and they have concierge, it probably wouldn't hurt to call and ask if they can have anything delivered to your resort/room. But as far as the wedding cake your pretty much stuck.
