Mini van, Full size van or 2 cars?

We will be staying off site for 11 days in may and will have 7 adults to transport. Our past vacations were usually just the 4 of us and we would get a mini van for the extra room. But this year with 7 adults and luggage I am not sure what to do. Also will need room for an electric scooter rental to and from the parks. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

With that many adults, I would get 2 cars for the flexibility.

I agree with two cars. You might not even fit everyone and everything into a minivan.

My mini van will hold 7 adults OR luggage but not both, certainly not with a scooter. You need more space than that. I'd do 2 vehicles rather than 1.

I too was wondering about fitting a scooter into a car. I think one vehicle needs to be a minivan.

Another vehicle option is a 8 passenger SUV with extended length. However you need to think about your luggage space for your entire group with that scooter.

In general, I like the idea of having the group in one vehicle to decide and discuss things. However, I also believe in comfort.... especially when you have luggage overflowing into the passenger area for long trips. Sitting lotus position while your carry-ons are under your feet is not pleasant for long rides.

Thanks for the replies, but to clarify things I will not have the luggage and the scooter in vehicle at the same time. But 2 cars may be the direction I am leaning. Just wondering how the deluxe scooter would fit into trunk of car.

I had a similar question... 6 adults + luggage from WDW to Port Canaveral for a 7-night cruise. No scooter or anything like that. Do you think we can squeeze into a minivan?

We have rented a minivan with six adults, tight but do-able. Two large suitcases, 4 carryon sizes, 4 backpacks and 1 computer bag. As I recall some items were at our feet. We also made a grocery stop.
