Mini trip with my mom

My mom and I are thinking of taking a mini trip in November. I will be in Orlando for a meeting. Going on a budget and thinking of staying in a value resort. How would we get to animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner if we were staying at All-Stars movies?

1.) Bus from Movies to AK then bus to AKL.

2.) Taxi from Movies to AKL.

When I went in January we stayed at Pop but had dinner at Boma one night. We went to Downtown Disney then rode a bus from there to Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Yes that will work too. But, from experience we avoid DTD as a transfer point at all costs. For whatever reason, no matter where we are staying, using DTD has been a bad experience.

Bus to AK then to AKL -

-or take the first Park bus that comes - then a bus to AKL - I too would avoid DTD as a transfer point - just seems to take a long time.

Totally agree. Whatever bus comes first hop on it & then get a bus to AKL. We do that alot if we have dinner at one of the other resorts.
