Mini report 8/8 - 8/14

We are checking out today but have had the BEST week!! Our first summer trip and it was great. Can't believe the perfect weather and lower than expected crowds.

We were in the parks Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We stayed at VGC and utilized EMH. I was surprised at how much we got done!! Kids are ages 6 and 9 and love all rides. We rode everything except Alice and Peter Pan, and several rides multiple times. Basically we toured open til 12. Then ate and took a long break back at the resort. We went back to the parks around 5 for dinner and night stuff

We did Paint the Night twice- once at 8:45 (?) by IASW. Fireworks were awesome from there!!! Then last night we saw PTN again at 10:45 right in Town Square. Super easy to grab a curb spot 5 minutes before it started.
We did the BB Fantasmic package and loved it! Fireworks also were great from there!
We did the CC World of Color package and enjoyed that as well. I wasn't sure how we would like the new show but we all did!

We also ate at WCT at 5:00 and saw the Pixar Play Parade go by. That was a great tip I learned on here.

And my kids loved the Mickey Pants Sundae

I had to use a scooter this trip but it was easy and made the trip doable for me.

Sad to leave today but it was a great visit! So much pixie dust!!!!

My only bummer is the 60th shirt I want is not available. There are 2 on display at World of Disney but they won't sell me one. Evidently they have been out for a month. Boo!

Glad to hear you had such a great trip! I've been concerned about the heat for our upcoming trip. Online has been showing upper 90s in Anaheim this week. Did it feel that hot to you?

Our week started off much cooler. We had to buy jackets for the kids! But the past couple days were warmer. We were always out of the parks in the afternoons so it was never bad at all.
Mornings and evenings were especially nice!

So glad to hear that you had a great time and the weather wasn't too bad! Aren't the new shows awesome? We are going later this week! Do you mind me asking what shirt it is that you were looking for? Hope it's not one that I had my eye on!

I liked this shirt a lot too, but couldn't find it anywhere. (We left it seems the day you arrived.) I did find an ornament with the design at the shop on Main Street. I wanted the design badly so I didn't look at the price ($49 I did get AP discount though) of the ornament until it rang up and by then I was sold on it so I paid for it, it better look darn good on my Christmas tree!

I saw the ornament at World of Disney, too. I was about to get it until I saw the price. Ha!!! But I do love it. You will enjoy looking at it every year

I will keep stalking the Disney Store online in case they get more shirts in.
