I'm thinking we have a lot of school kids who are already bored with their vacation posting. :sad2:

We just got back yesterday from a week at WDW and I totally agree about the FP messing up our plans.
One example was when we had an ADR at Mama Melrose at 12:30. Arrived at HS at 8:10am for EMH and went straight to Toy Story for a FP. As my husband waited in line, I watched the FP time go up and up until it wasn't going to work with our ADR...12:20, to be exact. Even if we walked directly into the ride vehicle at 12:20, we'd never make it. I canceled the ADR.
Another example was when I took the kids on a ride at MK and my husband ran across the park to get FP's for Splash Mountain. We had an ADR at 1:30, FP time was 1:45-2:45. We kept the ADR, but it was a wasted trek across MK for the FP.

Besides these two examples, on three separate occasions, we did not use FP's because we couldn't get to that side of the park in time because we were on other rides. We also gave away FP's when we had to leave due to crabby kids. In other trips, we would have taken naps, then returned to the park later and used the FP at this time.

What we found was that we did a LOT of extra walking to get/use the FP. It was hard to come up with an organized plan because of the set FP time. Would we have time to walk across the park for one ride, wait in line and make it back in time for FP?? Sometimes the answer was no....and that's a wasted FP.
We also found that we wasted a lot of time standing outside the ride waiting for our FP time to come up because it didn't make sense to go somewhere else. Many others have the same idea, so when the clock hits a new time, 30+ people are all charging the FP return line...which is just one more time to get to be pushed around be strangers trying to get ahead of you.

On some rides, I feel the FP line ended up moving quicker than during previous visits, but not enough to make me like this new time enforcement.

Sounds like you needed better plans to begin with. I was at WDW May 31st - June 8th and didnt have any problems with FPs at all.

If you decided to do EMH at DHS, then why get there at 8:10am? You know that park is already going to be swamped on EMH days. And DHS is a smaller park so it would have been easy to have someone return and pull FPs for a time that was after your lunch ADR if FP return times were advancing that quickly.

You knew the new FP enforcement rules going in and should have adjusted accordingly. It was about the choices you made. Just like you chose to game the system in the past to your convenience.

I never used a FP late because I was unaware that you could. I don't think that makes me morally superior for Pete's sake. Just really blonde.:lmao:

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger...we only found out that we could use FP beyond the window on our last trip...(in 2011) and then they changed the rules! :rotfl: Not one time did getting to the window change our strategy on touring tho. We don't do Disney Commando.

What rules? You made your own rules and still you are a Big fat liar
I see. There's no use arguing logic with these people. Considering Disney specifically stated "Yes, you can return any time on the same day, so long as it's after the window opens," to several people on this board via this board, in person, in emails, at guest relations, in articles, in guidebooks (granted, that wasn't Disney, but they sure as hell knew about it), over 7-10 years of time. It was the freakin' rule. Just because you made up your own does not mean that I have to follow it.

Of course, since you're too stupid to understand basic logic, this isn't going to get anywhere, but that's ok, we can add this to the infraction list for the first retort at personal attacks in my previous post. I, frankly, don't care. I've dealt with stupid people with professionalism for too long to do it on these boards too.

Well thank you for calling my stupid. After visiting Mobile this spring I do understand your "problem" :lmao:
You obviously believe in your own lies.

I'm suspecting that I just got trolled. If not, I have no hope for humanity or these boards.

Gotta love it ;)

(Normally I don't pick on spelling. I make enough typos myself. However, when someone retorts to me calling them dumb, by including an error... it's just funny :p)

Like I said, school is out for the summer and the kids are bored. I highly doubt an adult is making those posts.

All I'm waiting for is the "Oh yeah, well my dad can beat up your dad!".:rotfl2:

Yeah, he's certainly a troll (viewed his recent posts, and all are very trollish). You'd think after years of gaming that I'd be used to them. I guess I don't suspect them over here where people are usually people.

No hope for humanity? You really think that Disney puts times on FP for noting? YOU are the one that accuses those that followed the rules for breaking them.
Trollig? O yes those that have no answer or have no excuse for bad behavior yell "TROLL,TROLL".

Well since I have the Moral high ground, having never used a FP outside of the printed times I have to say...even if it is a little off topic.

I hope this whole Xpass, passX whatever it is doesnt ever come to fruition. I always kind of thought it was low rent when they did it at US.

Oh and BTW, I never used FP outside the printed times because

A. I didnt know you could

B. I have been a Soldier for 20 years. If it says come back between 1 and 2, then thats your supposed to do. I execute. (now had I known it was accepted I may have fudged a little)

We always used them within the window allowed and never had a problem. Our first couple trips I didn't know anything about being able to return whenever. Than when I did find out I never remembered and it was just easier to return during the window anyway than to worry about if we were going to get there and be turned away.

You need to take a deep breath.

You DO realize you are getting worked up about standing in line for a theme park ride, right?
