Mini-Quest?

Uh, I thought it was going to be on the Q, man! Now I have to try to get into the Queue. Crazy how that works...


For anyone that got in and started the quest: what's the prize?

Considering that it's in her room and on the mini quest engine, it probably has lots of different prizes with a few really good one's thrown in from time to time.

I'm having not having any luck getting in so far.

I'm number 33 in line. I'll do my best to give an idea of what the quest is like and what the prizes are after I finish the quest.

Main quest idea is you have to find gold mickeys everywhere in vmk with a few additions of dancing,smiling, and waving

Tonight's quest has 21 tasks that have you go to different places in VMK. Some tasks include finding a gold Mickey head. Beyond that, there are a few tasks for emoting, dancing, sitting, waving and saying a specific phrase.

The top 5 times when I finished were:
6:16
6:22
6:32
6:38
7:00

The quest timer showed at least three hours left to the quest.

The prizes:
Prizes 1 through 30 are 100 Credits (I think they are all the same).
Most of the other prizes start at 31 and go through about 72.
After 72 or so, the prizes are 100 Credits or one of the other prizes with most of the ending prizes being credits.

Football Marker
Purple Rocket Couch
Short Space Mountain Supports

Maybe I can actually get something out of this one. Usually, on these timed quests, I end up with nothing because of my stupidly slow computer!

Bah. I wonder why there's no Q quest this week. Those usually work out great because they don't take too terribly long to finish. Plus, the in-room quests like this always seem to have people who finish in unusual, unbeatable amounts of time. Ah well. I signed on to play the usual Q quest, but now that I see that's not happening I guess I'll go do other stuff I need to do around the house.

I forgot to say there is no magic required for the quest. The only mini-game required is you have to play a song in the Music Game. Be sure to create that one note song before you enter the quest room.

That means only the top 105 times will get a prize.

Yes. Only the top 100 times will get anything out of this other than the fun of just doing it.

I don't think I'll be getting anything out of it since my time came in at 10:54.

My time was over 20 minutes. One of the questions said to find a Mickey in a room with snow and presents on posts. There are two rooms with the big presents on posts, a few different with little ones on light posts, and all of main street has snow. To top that off, it was behind something!

I finished the quest in 7 minutes. The top 5 times were all in the 4 minute range! How do they do it? Arg! ~ no prize for me tonight.

Edit to add: the only thing I do to speed up my time is to always play in advanced mode so I can find an empty instance of the room I need to go to.

Edit again: I ended up somewhere in the 150th+ place. Prizes were awarded out to 105th place I think.

FYI my time was just under 6:59 and I was 187 and got no prize...

There are a couple other speed ups that can help. Definitely have a one note song on your character and play it in an empty instance. Use teleport magic to move across rooms.

I'm not very efficient at using the maps. I often click on the wrong land or have trouble remembering where the room I want is located. When I do that well, it shaves a lot of time off my quest.

Yes, I do not even know why I try. I got four hundred something place. Oh I cannot stand my slow computer sometimes. lol yes there is a four hundredth place. Thank goodness christmas is almost here. I asked Santa for the items to update my computer!
