Mini mister fans at Walmart?

Hi! Read a post a while back about "mini" mister fans at Walmart. Went to Walmart the other day and tried to find them, but couldn't. Also asked a couple of Walmart employees, but they didn't know what I was talking about.

What section can these be found in? I'm looking for the "mini" mister fans that clip onto a belt loop - apparently, they're much smaller than the DW mister fans (which I already have). I love the idea of having them be so small, since they wouldn't be as clunky as the big ones.

Any suggestions? Is this a seasonal item, that might be found later in the spring?

I think I remember seeing them last year with all of the summer stuff. I don't think this is something they carry year round, but just during the summer season. If they are going to carry them again this year, you should start seeing stuff being put out very soon (if not already). Good luck finding what you need.

Should be hardware dept, along with other fans, maybe in a month or so. Also along with summer floats and things, near pool supplies maybe?

Yes, this is where I found them last year. I'd guess that they'd be out in about a month or so. These were so nice to carry last year instead of the big, heavier full-size version. I used mine all of the time. A word of caution, though. The propeller fell off of mine, and I was able to fine it and reattach it. Later on during the trip, it fell off again, this time without me noticing, and I never found it. A fan isn't much good without a propeller! Luckily, my mom never used hers, so I'll be stealing it for my trip this year. So watch those propellers!

I found mine last year in the hardware section. This year I found a mini-fan with a light on it. We didn't use the mist much last year, so I thought I'd try the light this year. We're staying at SSR and I've read that the path from DTD to SSR isn't always well lit, so I thought this might help. Plus, it'll be handy to have if I need to look at the map, autograph book, etc. while waiting for a nighttime show.

I purchased ours last year at Walmart as well. When they get the summer stuff out, that's when you can find them. The foam blades fell off ours too (didn't help that I have 3 boys that were using them!). We used them without the fan and just used the water. It kept us cool and was better than nothing.

I just got one!! Now I am thinking that I should get a couple more, there are 6 of us going and I know it won't hold much water!

But anyhow, I found them next to the sunscreen. Hope that helps... I got it at K Mart, it was marked down to $2 as well!!

I know I found some mini fans (not misters) before my last trip at an Ocean State Job Lot. They were two for a dollar on clearance, so I bought a whole bunch. I figured if they broke or didn't work long, I wasn't out much money.

I found disney mini hand held fans at the family dollar store for $2. over the weekend. It also has a strap to hold on your neck. They had tink, ariel, 3 princesses and buzz.

I'm also on the hunt for these. I saw the disney ones @ Big Lots for $3 and I might just go back and buy those. I want to buy everyone in our party one.
They had Tinkerbell, Princess, and Buzz.
