I just got our confirmation in the mail for our January trip that I booked last week. It says we get free tickets to play mini-golf... some Xmas themed place next to Blizzard Beach.

Has anyone done this? Is it crowded? My 4yo just discovered mini-golf and LOVES it. How would I get there? Take the bus to Blizzard Beach and walk? Is it a long walk?

Thanks for any info! :)

Seems like it was right next to Blizzard Beach but I couldn't tell you if it's walkable from inside BB or not.

Hmm I THINK it's walkable...the bus dosen't go there does it.
And the place is called Winter Summerland and I'll be doing that this trip, can't wait. I've done Fantasia gardens twice and it was tons of fun! :thumbsup2

It is called Winter/Summerland and is located at Blizzard Beach. Its entrance is just a few steps from the entrance to Blizzard Beach.I have never played there, but I walked to the entrance once when leaving Blizzard Beach and it looked really cute.It wasn't crowded at all,but this was during the day. There is also another miniature golf course at WDW-it is called Fantasia Gardens and is located close to the Swan and Dolphin Resorts.Have fun. :)

I have played Mini Golf at both sides of the Blizzard Beach course. I think it is Winter ? something... anyway. I love it! I do like the Fantisa course, but I like the Santa/Christmas theme at Blizzard. And I like that one side has a Winter/Christmas Theme and the other side has Santa on vacation... so fun! We got to the course about 10:30 pm and still got to play both sides, even thought it closed at 11pm... the CMs were wonderfull!
DS(20yo) likes the Fantisa best...
Honestly, both courses were very fun!

We played at Winter/Summerland last Sept. and it was great. We went at night (it's open until 11 p.m.) and we basically had the course to ourselves. :goodvibes We played the Winter side, my princess: DD6 really enjoyed it.

When we pulled into the parking lot (same as BB) it looked like it wasn't open. There were only one or two cars in the entire parking lot. I pulled up and my mom walked towards the entrance and met a couple coming out who said it was open. Other than the 2 CM working there, we only saw 2 other people while we were there. They smartly decided NOT to play behind us and went to the other course.

When we finished up at about 10:30 p.m. my DD wanted to play Summerland side, but I told her it was too late, they were closing soon and we wouldn't finish. Your second round is 1/2 price). The kindly CM (who heard me) said "don't worry, as long as you start by 11 p.m. we stay open until you're done" Now has that for Disney Magic? :goodvibes Anyway, we decided it was too late for us but I think we'll have to do it this next trip. :thumbsup2

Years ago my mom and I played at Fantasia Gardens (the other mini golf) and we found it extremely hard! :confused3 My ball kept going off course (there are no curbs!) The CM at Winter/Summerland said that Fantasia Gardens is rated one of the most difficult mini golf courses in the world-I believe it!
