We are planning to spend a little time playing mini-golf on our next trip. We have 9 and 12 year old girls who love playing in general but we have never played at WDW. They would likely enjoy a more challenging course (thinking Fantasia Garden or Fairways) but would also like some theming (Winter Summerland). Any thoughts on which you prefer and why (especially if you have done a course from both areas)? Thanks -

We've played both and both courses at Fantasia.

Fantasia Fantasy Garden is challenging. Fantasia Fairways is challenging for my husband, who golfs weekly. Winter Summerland was a course we did once and decided not to do again as I under up 14 under par and lost to my husband and son.

Not sure about your theming aspects as I thought Fantasia Garden was themed very well. The music was very relaxing and the icons cool.

Personally, I would do the Fantasia Gardens but Winter Summerland was OK. I don't think I would do the Fairways unless you more more of a "true" golf experience (no drives, just tee off in a short distance and then putt, no chipping).

Fairways is a great course, we will be hitting the rest of the courses this September.

I prefer winter/summer land. We golfed the winter side. We thought the Floeida Christmas themeing was great. If I am not mistaken--that course also has more shade opportunity. But I haven't been to Fantasia in a long while.

Agreed! We went there last year and had a blast! They even have "Florida snow". We thought was pretty neat to see it "snowing" in the hot Florida sun. Then again, we love all things Christmas so this was right up our alley. We enjoyed it so much we plan to return to the same place again in November. I'm sure Fantasia is also cool, but we really enjoyed the Winterland course. It was also super easy to get too; just took the waterpark bus (I think Blizzard Beach) and it's right there.
