We are arriving on Friday, June 3 around 4 PM (driving). We are staying off site the first night. We were thinking of playing mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland that first evening. Which course do you recommend it DW, DS5, DS3 and I?

Also we were thinking of going to the boardwalk for dinner and renting one of the surrey bikes. Anyone ever done this? Where all can you take them?

Thanks for you help

I can help you with the mini-golf question. I just played Fantasia and Winter Summerland courses on Sunday. Fantasia Gardens has two courses (The Gardens and The Fairways). The Gardens course is the one you will want to play. The holes are really cool and challenging. The Fairways course is basically a golf course..no fun there. I shot a one under 52 on the Gardens course. Par is 53.

Winter Summerland also has two courses and it seems to be generally less busy than Fantasia. Their two courses (Sand and Snow) are both really fun although I only played the Snow course. Both courses are extremely fun to play with all the characters and such. I shot much better on that course. I had a -21 35 on that course. Par is 56.

These were the only mini-golf courses I've ever played where they give you an actually tee time. The price is only $10/per person but I'm sure it's cheaper for kids. You'll have a blast! :teeth:

We have done both mini golf courses and we prefer Fantasia! Also, you can ride the Surrey bikes around the BW area and across the bridge past the BC and Yacht Club! A good dinner suggestion might be the seafood buffet at BC at Cape May Buffet! :flower:

For the kids, Winter/Summerland are the best. The course at Fantasia gardens has several "uphill" holes that small kids cannot handle. We've watched small children spend up to 5 minutes or more trying to hit the ball up the hill (always unsuccesfully) until the adults got tired of watching and the lines of waiting golfers increased.

We haven't been to Fantasia yet (I think we'll try it on our trip later this month) but we have been to Winter Summerland and loved it. We did both the Sand and Snow courses but Sand was my favorite and we loved the miniature campers!!

Your help is much appreciated.... Since we have a 3 and 5 yr old I think WinterSummerland might be more suited for us.

Sand or snow... hmmmm Decisions Decisions!! :rotfl:

I wish these decisions were the hardest I had to make at work. :teeth:
