mini report, i'll write more later.
tutto italia = 100x better than alfredo's (the old Italian restaurant)
we went there 3 times in our 7 night 8 day trip. One thing to note, you cant change your pasta shape for your entree.
i ordered a pasta dish with cream, peas and Italian ham and it came with bow tie pasta which i HATE and i requested if possible if i could get any other shape (preferably long pasta (ie spaghetti) and i was told no each time i went (i figured i'd ask each time just in case different cook back there), why I still dont understand. Its not like its incorporated already in it, supposedly all is made fresh.
anyway, the first time I got the bow tie pasta, pasta eh,sauce little salty but still like it
second and third time I got the pasta primavera. Absolutely wonderful. it was made with an egg noddle cream sauce with little bits of veggies (zucchini, broccoli, peas, and cherry tomatoes)
We also go the appetizer for 2, (antipasto misto I think it was called) Though made for 2 we were 3 adults and struggled to finish it all. it was nice, had Italian cheeses, meats, veggies.
Dessert was ok (I expected better), the gelato was the best, my dad got pistachio and it was better than my gianduria chocolate cake, I should I have learned the next 2 times, but still I went for the cakes and not the gelato and I was disappointed each time.
lecelleier - best meal, worth the 7am wake up on the 90 day mark to make adr!
glow tini was incredible, anyone know what was in there? i forgot to look. I got a cesear salad for app (requested more dressing cause mine was bare when 1st came out) mushroom filet was incredible and I order extra side of cream cheese mash potatos, yummy! My dad got a veal t-bone that was nicely presented (standing up!) and panzenalle salad, which I was surprised I knew what it was and had to explain to him.
wolf gang puck cafe was surprising great! I was expecting something less (maybe cause the word café) it was great. our waitress was soooo nice. I forget her name but she was from Morocco. i had the flat iron steak with blue cheese butter. it was yummy, the onion straws were great!
crystal palace was a disappointment. food was eeh at best! dessert stunk! characters are great though.
and finally i had ohana for breakfast, this was good, worth using the table service meal, heck no. i wish i would have scheduled another dinner and paid out of pocket for this. the juice they have is incredible. we had a window seat that overlooks the lake and grand floridan, very beautiful.
those were all of table service meals, all in all the dining plan is soooo worth it, not only financially, but ease of mine not having to worry to bring so much $$ with you!
