I mentioned these in a post on the CB and was asked about them so I figured Id share the recipe here. I think I got it from one of those coupon ads that come in the paper.

Estimated Times
Preparation 10 minutes
Cooking 10 minutes
Cooling 10 minutes

Ingredients

3 sticks butter or margerine, softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups all purpose flour
2 cups (12 oz package) Nestle Semi Sweet Chololate mini morsels(Im thinking of substituting mini m&ms here...what do you think?;) )
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts

Preaheat over to 375

Beat butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt in large mixing bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in flour. Stir in morsels & nuts. Shape level tablespoons of dough into 1 1/4 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are set and lightly browned. Remove from oven. Sift powdered sugar over hot cookies on baking sheets. Cool on baking sheets for 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely, sprinkle with additional powdered sugar if desired. Store in airtight containers.

These sound very good. Thanks for posting the recipe. Don't you love those coupon ads. I find a lot of good recipes there, most quick and easy.

Try the Eggnog Bundt cake recipe from Hood. It uses a packaged yellow cake mix, eggs as directed, 1 t. nutmeg plus eggnog instead of water or milk. Bake in a bundt cake pan then glaze with a mixture of eggnog and powdered sugar.
