:wizard: We had requested a standard view, dedicated 1BR and checked in early Sunday am. A CM in training checked us in, and of course our room wasn't ready. We got the room keys and spent some time in Epcot, doing Soarin', Mission Space, and Test Track. We stopped for lunch at Cantina in Mexico and our keys didn't work for charging. We were told to go back to BW and they would reissue new keys. Don't know what happened, but the manager got us new keys and said it should have worked. Our room was ready at 3:50, and we got 3121, at the end of a long hallway toward the BW parking area. We had a great balcony stretching from bedroom to living room with 4 chairs and two tables, a view of the bridge over the canal. One night we even saw a lot of Illuminations from the room.

The room was missing some utensils (cookie sheet, paring knife, and slotted spoon) so I requested them from housekeeping. Don't know if that triggered it, but one afternoon a team of 4 were in the room doing "preventive maintenance" checking all the light bulbs, appliances, etc. They replaced the rubber in the disposal, changed the oven light bulb, and got rid of the squeak in the dryer. They even brought us a few extra towels!

Enjoyed walking to Epcot and MGM. Had a good time at Flower and Garden, DS24 drove Richard Petty, did Crush n Gusher at Typhoon Lagoon, and I'm really missing the great weather, now that we're back in chilly New England.

Will answer questions.

Thats great to hear. They should do that at every resort.

This is nice to hear! Actually having someone to check out the place for small repairs!

Thanks for the report! We had that room before. Great Illuminations view!
