Good morning from a very quiet Pop Century Resort. We plan to begin the last day of 2011 at Magic Kingdom. We have not yet done our normal opening round there for various reasons, so this morning we will do our Fantasyland loop. We don't really plan to do much today. Our loose plans are to do a little MK time, give the girls some pool and nap time, go see Osborne Lights, have dinner, and go to the Polynesian for NYE fun. They have only had one chance to swim for a short time, so they are ready for some more water play today. Gotta get it in now, because there will be no swimming when we get back to the cold of home.
The trip has been fun. Plenty of smiles and laughter, as always. We have avoided the crowds when possible, but it is definitely crowded in the parks from pretty early in the day on. They are doing a good job of crowd control, though, and they have many extra buses running, so waiting has not been a problem, at least from what we have experienced. The weather has been wonderful.
Jill is pretty aggravated about the FB incident. She has had to go to the trouble of getting it reinstated, and that probably won't happen until Tuesday, with the holidays. It is sad that there are people who have so little regard for others, but they will suffer at their own hands/deeds eventually. We will continue to have our fun, but we're sorry you guys can't 'be there' along with us. We really enjoy following you when you are on your trips, so we know it does bring a smile to see the pictures as all DISers go along their trips.
We had a fun ride on the Jungle Cruise last night with Anita, Marc, Pat, Elena, and Cara and family.

We had planned to leave right after that, but Anita said we should go up in the treehouse with them. Brooklynn wanted to, so we did. We ended up leaving one new family member - and I mean really, really, really new - behind.

You can ask Anita for details.

We hope to be reunited with him again.
I'm going to get ready to start this day. We hope 2011 has been good to you all, and we hope 2012 will be better. Have a magical year's end, friends!
