Sending prayers for Joan and her family during this difficult time for them!!! I also will be saying prayers for you during this time too!!
Glad everything went well with Bella's hospital visit!! Praying it turns out to be nothing!!!
3 more sleeps!!!!!! I bet you can't wait!!
This morning it finally hit home. Since I will be leaving to go to Jill's in the morning, this is my last sleep here. That means I really have to get things in gear!
Bella's visit went very quickly, and she did very well. It helped that she didn't have to be taken away anywhere by herself. I was concerned about that, because I knew she would not be happy about something like that.
Thank you for your sweet thoughts and prayers.
If the weather stays the way it was today it will be beautiful!! We drove down to Ocala today and I was tempted to keep going
The ten day forecast is looking nice. The older I get, the more I understand why retired northerners fly south for the winter. I dread January and February temperatures ahead.
MeMom, I'm so sorry to hear about everything that has been happening. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone.
You are so right though. We have no idea when anything can happen to us, and we really need to consider the memories we leave behind.
We want to be remembered in good ways.
My prayers are with Joan and her family. I know it is such a hard time. I have mixed emotions about Christmas too. I am excited to see the boys and enjoy time with family, but there is sadness too. I took flowers to my brother's grave this last weekend. Many tears were shed. It seems so unfair that he will not be here. I still almost add him to my Christmas list. As you know, my father looks worse all the time. I know from being a doctor that death is nearing for him. It is sad, but I am trying to focus on spending as much time with him as possible. I did not get to tell my brother I loved him before he died. I am not making the same mistake with my Dad.
Hang in there everyone and remember the good things about Christmas. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.
We are so sorry for your sadness. I hope your family time in Disney World gives you a lot of smiles and laughter to offset your tears.
Y'all are in for quite the weather while you're here. It was 82 degrees today!!!! The news said we're hitting record highs. I keep forgetting it is only 2.5 days 'til Christmas.
The forecast is looking very nice. I love it when it is in the 70's, and that's what it will be for most of our stay!

You have so many wise words MeMom. Bless you and your family this Christmas!! I feel like such a lucky person to "know" you through this wonderful thing that is the DIS! This will be a bittersweet Christmas for our family too, and your words here have really helped put things in good perspective, so I wanted to say thank you.
I hope you have a great holiday and a magical trip to WDW!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
You are welcome. We do have to keep things in perspective. One bad thing, even if it is very painful, cannot override all the good things we have. One good thing, even if it is very good, cannot override us staying focused and humble, either, so we should get so caught up in good things that we don't stay grounded. Does that make sense?
I am glad we have so may sweet DIS friends, too. I am going to go meet two of them for lunch today.
So sorry for everything you guys are going through, especially at this time.
Since the preschool is only open three days next week and my semester is officially over, I am not needed next week, and will be on vacation shortly after, so today was my last day in the classroom till after my trip. It will be a nice break, but I will miss those kids! I got the sweetest card and an ornament with an "M" in the front and "Love, A" in the back from one of the girls in the class whose mom is one of the infant teachers. I told A it was going right on my tree.
Just three more sleeps for you guys, huh? We are at 13 days right now (almost 12)...it feels surreal! Like I know we're going, but it hasn't really hit me that we are going so soon. Also, I PMed with Lana and Katie so I have a couple of fun DIS meets in the making, too!
Enjoy your free time and the excitement leading up to the trip.

I am so glad you guys get to meet, too!
I know I already posted on fb but I am so happy that everything went well with Bella! As for Joan, I am so sorry to hear the continuing sad news, and I continue to pray every night for her and for all others hurting right now. I hope you have an AMAZING trip and Christmas and I cannot wait to see all of the lovely photos of your precious little girls
Have a great Christmas eve eve!
Jill will start the FB pictures probably from the airport. Christmas afternoon, you'll probably see a palm tree picture.
I have checked the weather too and I am now liking what I see.
I wanted to wish everyone here a
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
See ya real soon!
Merry Christmas and have fun in Alabama! Have a great NYE trip and enjoy all of the DIS meets.
Will do - on all counts.
First, I am so sorry to hear about Joan. I will be praying for comfort for her and for all of her loved ones as you all go through this. Also, prayers for Mike, and all of those missing loved ones especially this time of year.
I saw Jill's posts on facebook while I was away, but I wasn't sure what was going on and I didn't want to post until I knew. I hope she has results by tomorrow (end of week). Prayers that the news is good.
I hope you get to do at least 200 of the 411 items you have planned for this trip! As always, I know you'll have a wonderful time. Let's see important info to know. Princesses are sitting on the right side in the parade (when facing the castle);
I stood at the hub on the side of Crystal Place (but up across from the partner's statue) and a giant tree blocked the Wishes Holiday fireworks. So, stand in the middle or on the right side of the castle. (You probably know all of this...)
Sunshines Seasons had a guava cupcake - don't remember it from last trip - YUM, YUM, YUM.

Merry Christmas and safe travels!
I have never ever ever had a guava cupcake, so I might just add that to my list of never ever ever eaten in Disney World foods.

If we eat at Sunshine Seasons, and I feel fairly sure we will, I am returning to my rotisserie chicken since they messed with my cashew chicken noodles. I was not happy with the yucky noodles they gave me last time, so I shall be returning to that delicious rotisserie chicken this time.
I could go through the whole trip doing very little riding and be very happy. There are so many other things I enjoy doing. As long as the girls get to do their favorite things and the big people get to do a few of their favorite things, I am happy just being there.

I am excited about having lunch with Dawn and Seth and Erica and Will today. I'll be back with pictures later. Have a great day, friends!
