I still don't have much to report as far as wedding planning, but my Disney cruise is EIGHT DAYS AWAY!

Last night I went to the bridal gown focus group. It ended up being a focus group about David's Bridal. It was geared towards bride-to-be's perception of David's Bridal. It was interesting but it wasn't as exciting as I thought it was going to be. I thought I was going to get a chance to stand up and tell The Man, "NOT EVERY WEDDING DRESS HAS TO BE WHITE AND POOFY!!!!" But no one really asked my opinion about that. They just wanted to know how I felt about their logo and advertisements. Oh well, it was still an easy way to make a few bucks. I wish I could earn a full time living just sitting around a table with 9 other brides talking about wedding dresses.

We are taking our e pics at DLR tomorrow although there is a 30% chance of rain. I've been playing with hair styles all night and nothing I try is working. I'm a ponytail kind of gal and i'm pretty useless when it comes to styling my hair. Nothing like waiting til the last minute, lol.

You are going to have SO MUCH FUN! Make sure and go to Pub Night the last night in Wavebands. The entertainment cast members get both silly and raunchy, it's hilarious.

Our e-pix shoot this morning was so much fun! The weather was perfect. I ended up running out of time to do my hair because my contacts were not cooperating this morning so I think that's the one thing I will regret for years down the line when I look back at the pics. Oh, and I HATE taking pictures and posing and all that, so I feel like I'll look like a goober in most of the photos. So we'll see.

The BEST part of the day was the ship operator for the Mark Twain (Jakob from the Netherlands; he was so awesome!!!) saw us and asked if we wanted to go up to where you "steer" the ship! I was like, uhhhh YES. Walt used to like to "steer" so to stand where he stood was so exciting. We got to ring the bell and blow the horn. It was so much fun.

After we took our pics we went over to the Festival of Brides wedding expo being held at the Disneyland Hotel. This was not an official Disney event, like the ones they do at WDW, but there were Disney elements. WARNING: Picture onslaught ahead.

Sleeping Beauty Pavilion. We are not having our reception here but it was very pretty.

I do like these centerpieces.

The head table was decorated with a tea party theme.

There were several table decorations from various vendors.

Love the flower tablecloth; should have gotten a closeup.

One vendor had a bunch of lounge areas set up.

I WANT THIS CHAIR AT MY WEDDING SO BAD.


And of course Mickey and Minnie made an appearance.

We were pretty exhausted so we didn't stay too long. But honestly there was not much to see. It was pretty disappointing. I would have been mad if we paid to get in.

We also ran into DIS Bride BriarRoseBride! The picture is on her camera. It was so great to finally meet her!

I'm getting closer! We had a family emergency last month, so I'm just glad March is over. So happy that you got Traci! She is the best ever. We were watching the raw footage from our wedding videographer, and there is even a clip with Traci saving the day in the background! It's hilarious, since we didn't even realize what was happening

My photog said she would send me some sneak peeks last night, and I said, "Really? You're going to be running around Disneyland all afternoon and evening with your kids, I think you'll be exhausted by the time you get home!!" Needless to say, I didn't get any pictures last night, lol. I certainly wasn't expecting any so soon (although, I DO really want to see them). I hope we got a few good shots.
