AND FINALLY, I had an initial phone call with Nathan Root of THE ROOTS! I told him my budget and they are going to put together a couple package options for us. I really really really hope we can work something out with them, because I just love their work so much!!!!!

Do you mind me asking how much your budget is?
One of my big concerns is photography because I don't know who to go with and I don't have a very large budget...

I'm not too comfortable sharing my budget, but if you look at photographer's websites you'll see that any decent photographer offers wedding packages for around $2500 - $4500 and upwards. Everyone is negotiable so if you find a photographer you like, it doesn't hurt to ask.

What I have been doing is making a note of the photographers used for Disneyland weddings/engagement pics on the Disney Weddings Blog and the ones I like, I email for their prices if they aren't already listed on the website.

NON-WEDDING RELATED.

The past few days I have been really focused on getting ready for my Disney cruise in LESS THAN A MONTH! I have started making my FE and also putting together my FE gifts. I also made some Mickey tie dye shirts but I don't like how they turned out.

And then, DISASTER .... I was washing the shirts and accidentally transferred some pink dye onto DF's shirt and now he refuses to wear it. D'OH

I don't think I have time to make another shirt. Ah well, I'll still wear mine on the cruise.

The shirts look really sweet. I love the Mickey in the middle. That had to have been fun to try and set up.

Thanks for the tip on the ON shirt! Its perfect! I love buying kids shirts - the Disney kids ones are always cuter than the adult shirts, too. I will get this ON one (hopefully they still have them) and wear it to WDW for my wedding weekend...which begins...TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY! Better get shoppin, lol.

I love your colors too - your pink is very similar to mine. My colors are hot pink (fushia) and kelly green.

UPDATE: Now that it has been 24 hours I washed all my dyed items in the washer and all the pink washed out of DF's shirt. He hasn't been home so he hasn't seen it yet but I think he'll agree to wear it now.

Oh my Mindy! So much planning has happened, I am catching up! I am glad you love the Grand, it is quite classy! I'm also super glad you are excited about the Monorail going overhead, some people get upset because of the noise, etc. but it is only for a few seconds and it is a touch of Disneyland, which makes it special and unique! You two are so cute, love the pics.

The topiaries are awesome! I love the glitter boxes, that was a creative use for them. I saw those in pink and blue at the party store and almost grabbed them up for my candy buffet take-aways, but I think I am going less bling.
