Min. age for ToT

My 4 y/o DD rode it several times and it was her favorite! You should have seen some of the dirty looks we were getting from people in line who disapproved of a little one going on. I wish they could hear her talk about it now!!

Thanks everyone for the input. After reading about all of your brave kids I think if she makes the height I'll let her ride.

Miller1412, I'll be getting dirty looks too, but it will be from my own parents, LOL. My mom couldn't believe we let my DD8 who was 5 at the time ride it(Funny story, we were trying to see Beauty and the Beast, but it was closed that day. We were standing around looking bummed and a ToT CM saw us and asked if we would like to ride ToT. I was pregnant so I couldn't, but DH & DD said yes and so she took them to the front of the line, speaking of dirty looks, and they got to ride it with no wait. Love that Disney magic) Thanks again everyone. Trust me, Sydney really thanks all of you.

My DS was 3 when he first rode it, went on 7 times during that trip. The next trip he rode it (only) 4 times, and goes at least 3-4 times per WDW trip we take. Definitely worth trying, who cares what others think if you child wants to go on? If they were kicking, screaming and crying "no" that would be different, IMO! :)

DD7 loved it and rode several times. DS10 was fine, but didn't want to ride again after the first time. DD4 would have been absolutely terrified and in tears if we had taken her on it.

Just depends on the the child. DS10 was completely freaked by Space Mountain when he was 4, while DD7 couldn't get enough of it at the same age.
