Million Dollar Question!!!

O.k. if you had a million dollars in WDW what would you to?
Rules are
1. the room is payed for
2. think of someone or something do with
3. you have 5 days to spend it
4. go wild with your mind
5. have fun

OK, this is fun.

1. I would buy dinner for everyone at the Crystal Palace from opening until close one night.
2. I would throw myself and DH a vow renewal ceremony at the Wedding Pavillion with a private family reception at Victoria and Albert's.
3. I would invite 100 kids from a local shelter or children's hospital to the Magic Kingdom for the day, buying each of them their admission, breakfast, lunch and dinner plus souvenirs.
4. I would let my own kids buy whatever they wanted for the duration of the trip (but I'm sure I'd have to use some of the money to ship everything home ).
5. I would buy every guest in the park Mickey Bars one of the days.
6. I would do every tour that was offered.
7. I would buy my DH one of the very expensive collectibles that he drools over every time we're at WDW.
8. I would pay for one night of each guests' stay at whichever resort I was staying at, but let's assume that I'm staying at the Grand Floridian.

So, do you think that would use up one million bucks? I have no idea, but it's fun to think about!

I am guessing we are staying at the Grand Floridian, but if not, I'd upgrade and make sure I was in the best suite in the hotel!

Then... I'd extend my stay past 5 days...

Then...

1. I would invite my friends and family down to stay with us at the Grand Floridian.
2. We would all get treatments at the GF spa.
3. We would rent out space to have a big party and invite Mickey & Minnie to join us.
4. I would buy everyone dinner at every restaurant we visited.
5. I would buy all the Christmas ornaments I wanted without worrying.
6. I would buy toys for kids back home who would never get to go to Disney World.

That's it. One-million doesn't go very far these days!

very cute question!!! are you getting the million bucks when you arrive or you already have it before getting to wdw?!?!?

*I would love to get one of the rides named after me!
*of course I would have my family & friends every wish come true...
*I would want to stay in the castle
*Park closed after hours for my family & friends to enjoy everything at thier own pace(i wouldnt close down the park during reg hourse because I like to people watch)
*everyone would get a charachter (sp?) picture done
*everyone gets thier own mickey ears
* I would put out a new thread for everyone from dis to get thier butts down thier w/ thier lime green mickeys and enjoy in the fun!
* oh and last but not least, i would ask mickey & minnie to come home w/ us!

I think I went over the million dollar mark! It was fun thinking about it!

• Shoot the works on a vow renewal ceremony with DW and have the family down to party with us.
• Bring down my Myrtle Beach golf buddies (all 19 of them) for a trip around all five courses.
• Take my father and stepmother to see la Nouba.
• Pick up the tab for a few make a wish kids.
• Fulfill my promise to take my nephews to WDW.

That's alot for five days but there was nothing in the rules about having to sleep!!!

Fun game!!!

1. Buy all those huge Mickey Mouse stuffed animals that are $50.
2. Bring all of my friends/family down there with me
3. Bribe the CM's to let me to the front of the rides
4. Eat at the California Grill
5. Reserve one of the places for Illuminations
6. Rent the Grand One and watch Wishes
7. Have all of the parks open a couple hours after closing for just me and my friends/family
8. Buy a lot of crystal decorations from the Aribas Brother's store.

I wish this would come true

sorry guys, I'm gonna be about 1/4 million short and a day late. I'll be home paying off my mortgage so I can come back to Disney every year in the near future!

How fun...spend a million dollars...I have a blackbelt in shopping so says my dh, let me see how I can spend it<G>

1) Staying in a Poly concierage suite with LGV and DDP, then upgrade 10 families with gv to lgv/mkv concierage and ddp. Go to all the value/moderate resorts and upgrade 10 families at each to their choice of deluxe resort. make reservations for all families for disney cruises and tours!
2) Buy DVC points for 2 brm villa to visit twice a year.
3) sponsor 5 Make a wish families plus give money to the local YWCAs and girls/boys club to develop a summer weeklong camp that brings all the creativity of imagineers to the campers...a little bit of science, a little bit of art and a lot of creativity<G>
4) Vow renewal at the poly with my entire family with the Brother Caz singing their new love song during the renewal (have mentally seen that in my mind's eye numerous times<G>) and provide entertainment during the reception luau
5) Extend my stay by booking the Magic Mediterrean cruise for my family and then back to florida.
6) Buy some Disney Dollars and give $100 to 100 families to spend at the WDW store.
7) Spend one day shopping the wdw shops passing out disney dollars as I go along

1) DBF and I would get married and have all the add-ons that we want
2) I would pay for hotel, airfare, and park tickets for all of our friends and family that came.
3) I would do Dolphins in Depth and Richard Petty DE
4) I would do the Safari Ride that goes out before the park opens and actually stops to let you take pictures
5) I would buy all of those big statues they sell of Disney Characters including Jedi Mickey lol *and pay to ship it all home*

It's probably not a million dollars worth but at least I'd get everything I wanted!

I'd get married there too right infront of Cinderella's castle. For transportation, I'd use the Cinderella Glass coach. The reception would also be in MK. I'd pay for all my guests.
I would eat bfst, lunch and dinner all at sit down table service meals (of course, this wouldn't be so great on my weight though) and Victoria and Alberts Chefs table.
I'd sleep in the castle all 4 nights.
I'd all do Cirque du soleil, lots and lots of shopping and spa treatments in the Grand Floridian.
Oh..........I wish.

1. Payoff my house, student loans and purchase a new Maxima.
2. Purchase three seperate DVC contracts at three seperate hotels w/ enough points to stay two weeks at a time INCLUDING WEEKENDS and enough room to sleep 12 to 18 people!
3. By a LIFETIME WDW season pass for myself, parents, siblings and nieces and nephews.
4. Book 10 years worth of Disney Cruises - two cruises a year for the persons named above.
5. Call all my family, fly them in first class, arrange limo service to pick them up, splurge on hotels they select, pay for everything, meals, snacks, souvies, tours, Circe de Sol, character breakfast, lunch, dinners and waterparks.
6. Contact 15 inner city under privilege schools and fly students and families, teachers and thier families and let them enjoy a vacation on me...tickets, room and board, meals,snacks, waterparks, tours, souvies, spa, etc.
7. Purchase a vacation home in Kissimme.
8. Start a business that caters to Dis fanatics like us that I can operate out of my vacation home. What? I don't know but I would think of something.
9. New state of the art, latest and greatest computer system to run aforementioned business.
10. Find a couple and splurge to have them a Disney Wedding.

This is how you spend $1 million. Some of you barely spent $250K.
