milkshakes on the ddp or extra at Sci-Fi?

You can get the milkshake as your dessert option, just have to tell the waiter/waitress at the beginning you want the milkshake with your meal but as your dessert option with the ddp.

Have seen this two ways in various posts on the board regarding Sci Fi:

1) You can order a milkshake as a beverage OR as a dessert.

2) You can order a milkshake as a dessert but not as a beverage.

No idea what the official policy of the restaurant is on this, if there is one. It may come down to what server you get. If they won't let you have one as a beverage, you might need to plan to get it as dessert.

Same here. Didn't feel too good after it but our server let told us we could order milk shakes as our drinks and still get our dessert.

This May, we also had no trouble ordering the milkshakes as drinks (also got big glasses of iced water as well) and have desserts, too. This was on the Deluxe DDP.
