Off To Neverland...AKA DISNEY!!!

Like how any Disney trip starts to first have to start with the planning. Mine just happened to start a week after coming home from the most magical place on earth. I blame the AP I have because I bought it I might as well use it. Along with my AP, it's Halloween time, mnsshp is my absolute favorite and I try to make it to a party every year.
When it comes to booking a trip I normally look at when flights are the cheapest and go from there. This time my mother jumped on board (although she constantly says how she doesn't want to go to Disney yet always ends up joining) and my 5 day trip turned into a 3 day trip. The room situation was a nightmare because nothing was coming up with a CM discount. So when I told everyone we had to be real guests and pay full price my AP came in to save the day. One of the only places available with the AP fall discount was fort wilderness, it was made for us!
Once everything was booked I told my favorite Florida residents, Alish and Brittany to get there party tickets because I was officially coming down. I almost changed my trip to get my five days because Brittany told me to come down that weekend and stay with her, but flights were just way to expensive.
Since it's Halloween time we had to figure out costumes. Life happened during the month before we left and making a costume wasn't my number one priority, and after millions of group messages of "what should we do?" We decided to go with a villains theme and I put together my costume 48 hours before we left.
And the last thing before we left was talking kiss into an AP. It was more his idea to get one because he kept saying "we're still doing the January trip right?" So after going back and forth he decided to join the AP family.



Now onto the trip!!!



A Disney morning is wake up at an ungodly hour, which of course I’m always ok with since I’m going to Disney. That lovely 4am wake up call is always wonderful. We were off to the airport by 4:30 and this time we had to park our car, which was a first for our family. Security was a breeze for those of us who don’t go by Ma….Ma however thinks she needs to bring all the snacks on this trip and got stopped with her peanut butter. No peanut butter and crackers for her.
We got to the gate early which meant I could get some breakfast at Tim Hortons! It was quite the line and by the time we got back to the gate they were just starting pre boarding.

The 2.5 hour flight was like any flight to orlando for me, put on Hamilton, take a nap and once we hit the last song we would be in Orlando.

A lot of construction was happening at MCO this morning. But that wasn’t stopping me from getting to the magical express as fast as I could. “This monorail takes me straight to pandora right?!” the stupid things that Kiss and I think are funny to say while people walking by probably think we are dumb.
The Magical express was less than magical this morning, it took forever for a bus to come for us and I was so unimpressed. But as we waited we watched everyone get ready to get on the cruise line bus. And as I sat there I thought of how that could be me because I almost changed my www trip for the cruise since my lovely sister had a discount on it. If I didn't buy my party ticket I would have switched to that cruise in a heartbeat.
The ME came and we were off, we arrived at the fort around 10am and we had no cabin yet. Just our luck. So in the meantime my mother took care of the golf cart situation while Kiss and I put our luggage in storage.

We left the rents off to ride around the fort all day while Kiss and I headed off to Epcot. As we waited for the bus to come I texted my BFF Brittany telling her we were on our way to Epcot. The friday before she texted me saying she had off from work Monday and that she could hang out at the park with us. She had some things to do at home before she headed to the park so I told her we would do Mission Space first since Kiss loves it and it makes her puke, that way she wouldn’t be missing out on anything.
First thing once arriving to Epcot was go get Kiss’s AP, he’s so fancy now. Then it was straight to Mission Space. When we got closer and I saw the wait time of an hour I wanted to puke. Are you kidding me?! But I decided to be a nice sister and wait it out.

Not even close to an hour wait, so I don't know why Disney is telling such lies.

After our mission to mars I still hadn’t heard from Brittany so we headed over to the Wonders of Life Pavilion to grab our F&W AP buttons and get from free chocolate.

With a free chocolate sample from ghirardelli in hand we walked around and viewed the chocolate models.

Peace out Wonders of Life Pavilion…I just wanted to go watch cranium commander but Disney said no.

Once you have that AP you will want to go all the time just because you have it! I mean you bought it so why not use it?!

Melting In The Showcase

With no word from Brittany yet we headed over to Mouse Gears in search of the 35th merchandise. Kiss had his eye on the varsity jacket, but of course it was no where to be found and online they didn’t have his size. So we came out of mouse gears empty handed and headed over to Test Track. I texted Brittany to ask if we should wait for them before getting in line for Test Track, she said yes because they were almost parking.
It was a toasty day in florida, I wasn’t going to wait outside and do nothing. Instead we entered the giftshop and headed to the car photo ops. Something I guess Kiss has never done? And as we waited we took a butt load of photos.

After doing every photo we could Brittany told me they were parking, so we headed out of the front of test track to wait. Then she decided to tell me she was parking at TTC and taking a monorail over, thats when I decided to not wait anymore since single rider was a 40 minute wait and the time was ticking. We jumped in line and they told us to go ahead since they live here.
The epcot wait times were enough to mess with guests because they were all off. the 40 minute wait was only a 15 minute wait.

After test track we headed over to the odyssey because I was tired of waiting in the same area. Plus here we could relax in the AC and browse the F&W booklet to see if there was anything we wanted. As we headed over Brittany texted me saying they were officially at Epcot. And when I told her to meet us at the odyssey she was very confused as to where that was.

Brittany and Joe had finally found there way to us and it was officially time to start the death walk around the showcase, AKA is was 90 degrees and I was prepared to die in the heat.
First stop was Norway because you can take the girl to F&W but it wont stop her from getting a school bread. And since we were here Kiss got the Viking coffee because why not start off with some alcohol first?!

At this point in time Brittany brought up to Joe how I always rave about the school bread (for obvious reasons, its delicious and is a good price) and how when she tried it she hated it. But to the school bread’s defense she doesn’t like custard…which is my favorite part and what makes up half the school bread.

Onward, as we walked through China I told everyone if they wanted to stop shout it out because I was about breezing through the crowds to get this sauna showcase completed. So we breezed our way through the pavilions until we came to a stop at Germany where Brittany and I got the pomegranate beer.

After Germany we didn’t stop until we found Brazil. Joe and Brittany said how they needed to try the cheese bread because everyone was raving about it. And once I saw there reaction to it I decided I needed to try it.
Taste was 10 out of 10, the thing that I didn’t like was the texture. That was something I could do without.

The group needed a break from the sun so we found a shady spot to sit and take a load off. At this time it was one more browse through the booklet to see what else we might like to try on our last leg of the showcase. Our last stop was Hawaii, which was at the very beginning of the showcase. The walk from was uneventful because I was a melting zombie that only had eyes for future world.
At Hawaii both Brittany and Kiss got the pulled pork sandwich. Which Brittany than asked “you guys were just in Hawaii, is this like real Hawaii or american Hawaii?” Well Hawaii is in America so both answers are correct!

When There Is Actually No Guzzling In The Grotto

We were officially done with the showcase for the day. And Brittany asked right away to go to Starbucks for some water or it was going to be another dehydration episode like Germany a couple trips back.
As we enjoyed the AC and drank all the complimentary Starbucks water, I randomly asked what would happen if I ran up the fountain of nations. Why I asked this I honestly don't know. But then came the topic of the kid who decided to take a dip in the imagination fountain. Where I chimed in and said no CP would stop me.
Soon we were back off into future world heading over to the land but stopped to see what the light lab entailed.

Walking in, my eyes had to do some adjusting, but overall the theming was cool. It was basically just another booth for F&W, except here they were like scientists and did experiments to make your drinks. Obviously one of us had to try it out...don't worry guys I took one for the team.
I decided to go with the boba drink, which from my last experience with the champagne boba drink from the art festival in January this might be a bad idea.
First, really bummed that my drink didn't get a cool experiment to go with it. Lame.
Second, I shared and both Brittany and joe said how it was like New Years Eve. What do you expect guys it's champagne.

So happy new year!

Then it was off to be a little seed. As we waited in line for the land I made some new friends in line, which honestly when don't I? The lady behind us asked where I got my ears and was so fascinated when I told her I made them. She asked to take a picture because she knew people who would love them. After that she started talking about how she has a salt lamp and a bird cage to go over it. She lost me at that point.
Another lady stopped us in line but this time it was for Brittany and her rose gold ears. Of course it was just to ask where and when she got them because if you aren't currently up to date with the big rose gold ear fad, they were all sold out everywhere for months.
Today on the land the rain forest was really raining hard. Like this is not splash mountain I should not be getting wet right now.

It was finally time to say goodbye to Epcot for this trip. We hopped on the monorail and off to the Polynesian we went.

Our major reason for coming to the poly for was trader sams…like it’s me we are talking about.
So we met up with the rents and headed off too the grotto. The plan blew up in our face real fast. Today was the 4th day of the hitchhiking ghost mugs being out and I have never seen so many people waiting for the place to open. They had a line wrapping around the building with people with wristbands waiting. There was a line for those with the mug and those not for a mug, when I asked the wait time for no mug they said probably a 2 hour wait! Ridiculous! I was pretty bummed to. But there is no way I was waiting 2 hours. Then the CM told us that the first lady in line has been there for all 4 days…AKA this biddie is one of those selling the mugs for $100 on ebay.
So instead we went to captain cooks for dinner and that was alright because I love the nachos!

During dinner Brittany asked me how Gma was after what I told her in August. Ma looked at me and goes “you didn’t tell her” I don’t do well with putting my life problems on others. But I filled her in as she helped finish off my nachos, since our new thing is I pick the better meal option, and she finishes it for me.
After dinner with the fam, us children were off to the kingdom for the rest of the night!

Space Mountain VIPs

Once getting to the magic kingdom for the night everyone was stopping us to ask Brittany where she got her rose gold ears. The obsession over these ears are crazy! And I'm honestly not all to sure why they are such a big thing.

Before we went to any attraction our first stop was another popular Disney thing that many are obsessed with. The hub grass.

The boys were clearly thrilled to hang out while we snapped some pictures.

Then it was off to tomorrowland. Our plan was to meet up with one of Joe's friend but he didn't get off of work for a couple more minutes. So as we waited we jumped on the people mover and took a nice relaxing ride around tomorrowland. Until we suddenly stopped in the tunnel before space mountain and the lights came on. It wasn’t too long though before the lights went out and we were back off on our journey.

After the people mover it was off to space mountain, where Tony just got off working and was kind enough to skip us to the front of the line. These are the perks I have missed once mine and Brittany's DCP ended and she could no longer get me on space without a wait.

After our first round in space, he goes "wanna ride the other side? Of course we didn't turn that down. So instead of exiting to the moving sidewalk we went up the ramp on the other side. And half way up we looked behind us and saw that a family followed us. We all froze as we were caught, tony played the roll of the CM and pointed them to the exit.

It was then goodbye to Tony who was kind enough to give us 2 fp for our night. And it was off to mine train.

We headed off to the other side of the park but made a pit stop at the fantasyland arch way.

Here we questioned why Alish wasn’t running around the kingdom with us

And then we had a lesson of how to be fetchingly draped

We headed for haunted mansion but once we got there and saw the wait we decided to keep walking. I suggested country bears and Brittany absolutely refused so we kept walking until we ended up at pirates. We were so lucky to be on a boat with girls who didn’t understand no flash photography on the ride, and after many complaints from our row they finally got the hint and stopped.

Sorry to Brittany, Country Bears is a must! I hate those people who do flash photos. I sat behind a guy on Splash who took flash photos the whole ride. He even turned around and took flash photos in my eyes.

We visited in September but never got around to meeting Pocahontas... but I was going thru my photos this afternoon and did a double take when I noticed Jasmine from our Cinderella's Royal Table dinner (night before Hurricane Irma) looks awfully familiar!
