Hello! We're going to be staying at the Sequoia Lodge in April with our 2 two year old twins. They're used to having warm full fat milk, first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Is it possible to buy some, get it from the restaurants or should we take our own? And is it possible to get it heated??

Also, although they love walking, due to the distances involved we're going to have to take our twin, side by side (Out 'n' about, Nipper) buggy. Has anyone had any experience with this? We're travelling on the Eurostar, so hopefully there will be space to put a collapsed twin buggy? And will it be a problem in the hotel or restaurants or do they have buggy parks?

Any advice gratefully received!

I think you would have no problem getting some fresh milk from the hotel, whether they heat it up i dont know. I guess you could just take a few baby bottles with you and ask for a kettle and do the old stand in hot water thing to warm it up.

Hi there
When we stayed at Sequoia Lodge last year you could definitely get a kettle from the concierge, and milk from the restaurant. We also found you could get milk from Annettes (conveniently in a cup with a top on it). There are other references on disboards re the garage near to the Santa Fe where you can get milk. We found it was easy to ask for some with the meal.
Have a great time!

We stayed at the Newport bay last year with my one year old - there was a plentiful supply of UHT milk at the store in the hotel and he didn't object to this for a couple of days, as he too was used to full fat milk last thing at night and in the morning.

We also requested a bottle heater from the hotel before we arrived and one was in the room when we got there.

Have a great trip.
