Is there something wrong with me????

Every date I see anywhere I have to compare to when we are leaving for WDW!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I was at the grocery store tonight. I opened the cooler and grabbed a gallon of milk. Of course I checked the Expiry date. First thing I thought of was... How many days is that before I leave???? :hourglass :earseek:

SOOOOOO I can gladly say that I leave 24 days after the milk in my refrigerator expires!! Of course it will be long gone by then with my DS5 and DS3 around.

I cant wait for JUNE 4!!!

Ha!! I'm glad I'm not alone!! I do things like that too...got so bad last year that I had the days numbered on my desk calendar so I would know exactly how long until I left (and I'm talking five months early)....but the bad part is, the next thing you'll do is "two weeks from today, my vacation will be over"... or..."When I go to the next staff meeting, I will be back from WDW"...

It's perfectly understandable! When I saw that you can't wait until June 4th I thought "Wow, I only have 23 days until after HoosierMan's milk expires, and we're at WDW (June 3rd). Oh what twisted lives we live :rotfl:

You are not alone. I even thought, when I bought milk a few days ago- "It expires the day we leave."

My DH does not get as excited as I do so this week end I started the week before torture ritual- you know how it goes- "This time next Sunday, we will be at CRT." "Next Monday morning I'll be riding RnR." on and on all day long! For some reason this drives my DH nuts!

I do that too Sk!mom.. and my wife hates it.. I also do it post trip.. this time last week we were at Epcot.. I do it for the first month we are home. This time a month ago we were ridin TTA. hehehe

awww so mant things that get me excited for my trip!!!!!!!!!

I do it to  :wave2:

I'm proud to say that my concept of time completely revolves around how many days until WDW. I.E. "I only have to work x-more days before I go to WDW," "I sleep x-nights before I go", and then once I get back I start all over again.

Hey, it ain't a bad way to live. ;)

N.E.D.

I do that with my Kona Coffee! :rotfl: I noticed it expires in October and of course what comes to mind? My WDW trip in October! I'm so lame. :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I remember buying a new box of trash bags (20 count) and I remember thinking "Ill be leaving before this box is empty" LLOOOOOOOOSER!!!!!!!

counting down the days till May 15 - why?
cos thats the day DS becomes a teenager!
and thats the day we start calling for our Aug PSs

so nice to know i am not alone

i was like, i leave 7 days after the milk expires (May 15-21)

can't wait
my husband just doesn't understand...that's why he is staying home!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Ha! I bought milk yesterday (we are leaving tomorrow) and thought, this milk will still be good when we get back!

OMG LOL!!! I too am glad to discover that I am not alone!!!!!!!! I thought I was the only one who thought like this. ;) And yeah, I know we are getting close to our trip when the milk doesn't expire until AFTER we get back home!! :cool1:

Sooo funny! :rotfl:

Count me in 'milk expiration' countdown!!!

I bought our milk this past weekend and thought, 'hey, this will expire the day we close on our new house and then we will be leaving for 'home' 17 days later!!!' YAY... :cheer2: :cheer2:  :cheer2:

Whewwwww!!!

Thank you all I feel so much better now.

I showed this to my DW to prove I wasn't the only DisNUT out there. But I don't think it convinced her too much.

Oh well.. At least I know that I am not alone

I do the same thing with the milk. I thought I was a "bit off", but now I know I am not alone. DH doesn't understand, but DS and I have a countdown calendar that we cross off everynight. Looks like we'll all be there at the same time. June 2nd for me (well, June 1st if you count the night I drive an hour to my mother's and stay there before heading out the next morning).

I count it as soon as we leave home. We leave on Saturday (May 7th) to drive to MILS. Then the next morning we fly to WDW. I said that to my wife and she said her vacation starts on Thursday since her last day of work is Wednesday. I work till Friday.
