Can anyone fill me in on where I can find soy milk in the parks or restaurants? I'm concerned that we won't get able to get my daughter any milk while we're there. She mostly drinks milk at meals, so I didn't know if the buffets, TS, and CS had individial soy milks.

TIA!

I don't know about the sit down restaurants, but you can get individual servings (think juice box size) of soy milk in the food courts of some of the resorts. I have seen it at Roaring Fork at WL and I think I found it also at the Screen Door General Store on the Boardwalk.

I'm pretty sure you can get soy milk at most table service restaurants and resort food courts. Also, I've gotten them at a few resort gift shops.
As for counter service...I've never asked since my girls usually only have it with their breakfast now. Although my 3 year old has asked for it a few times when we've eaten counter service lunch/dinner. Luckily we were eating at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. They have it in one of the drink cases there. It counted as the drink that came with her kids meal.
HTH!

If you ask for it, I am sure most places (CS and TS) can get some for you. If you make a note of the allergy on your ADR's, most restaurants will usually send a chef out to your table to talk to you about options and alternates. My girlfriend has a really bad nut allergy and on several occasions (when we remember to let the restaurant know) we have had someone come out and talk to her, tell her how they will prep her food, what she can order and what to stay away from, etc. As long as you let them know, you shouldn't have any problems.

I have a very slight milk allergy. Basically I just can't drink milk straight, so when I eat breakfast, I use soy milk in my cereal instead of regular milk. Anyway, we were at the Crystal Palace this past trip (just last week) and I asked if they happened to have just a little. They brought me out an individual box of the Vanilla Silk Soy Milk (Blue box!) And she asked me if I'd prefer Chocolate. So that at least gives you one restaurant that has it!

We're staying at WL, so that's great news. Thanks!

Thank you! I was wondering if it would count in the meal or if I had to pay extra.

Thank you for this info! I'm really glad to hear that! One place down!

Another mom of a milk allergy kid here we had no trouble finding in anywhere we ate. Yes is counts as any other drink would for the meal. MAke sure you have the allergy noted on all of your reservations, the chef will come out and talk with your daughter and make her what she will be able to eat for meals, including dairy free mickey waffles.

And they will all have tofutti so she can have ice cream with dinner every night

When we went we did not have any problem finding soy milk at any of the rest. we went to. We could even get it at Jiko.

Awesome!! Didn't know about the tofutti or the rice dream ice cream......DS will love it!!

The food courts had it but each time the cashier would argue with me about using it as the drink with the kids meal. One actually rudely said "all of your kids are allergic to milk" yes they ALL are!

We only eat TS meals at Disney owned restaurants and the only TS meal where Silk milk (any flavour) was unavailable was at Hollywood Brown Derby at DHS. The chef actually did track down 1 carton at a nearby CS location but by the time my DD decided she did actually want it (it wasn't her first choice of flavour so she had to think about it), it was already sold to another guest.

When we've used dining plans, we've always been able to get single serving cartons as the drink option whether we were getting child or adult meals. On adult meals if feels kind of like we're getting the short end of the stick though since the carton is so tiny and my DD13 generally drinks 2 (I'm generally happy with water so I would just get 2 and let her have my drink while I drank a cup of water). At buffets, you'll be brought as many cartons as you need since it's all you can eat or drink. At other TS restaurants, they tend to bring a few since it's generally served in a large glass but at times you'll only be given 1 carton; it's very inconsistent.

We used to have the choice between the plain (red), vanilla (blue) and chocolate (brown) but in the past year or so it seems that they've changed the vanilla for very vanilla (purple).

Not EVERY TS place will have Tofutti ice cream but most. Those that don't typically have some kind of sorbet. We've gotten the sorbet at LTT in MK, LeCellier at EP and HBD at DHS.

Some places that serve milkshakes will be able to make milkshakes using soy or rice ice cream along with soy or rice milk. Just ask about it. But, make sure to ask if they have a dedicated allergy milkshake machine or not and if no, what is the process of ensuring no cross contamination. We've had good and not so good experiences with this. Sci-Fi at DHS has a dedicated milk free milk shake machine. 50s PTC used to but hasn't for a couple years and not all chefs are as good with cleaning the nooks and crannies so my kids have gotten minor upset tummies (clearly just cross contamination level of upset tummies and not full exposure or at least one of them would have been really sick). Avoid Beaches & Cream. The Plaze doesn't have a dedicated machine but if Cousin Ken is there then he will do an amazing job of scouring that machine to make sure the milkshakes are safe (though personally I was happier getting a rootbeer float which just had me in heaven but my 13yo loved her shake).
