I am staying on site and have received my magic bands. I will also be purchasing my military salute tickets once I arrive. Is there anyway I can reserve fastpasses on the website? Was thinking no but wasn't 100% sure. I'm hoping I don't have to wait till the day we get there to add fastpasses through my phone app. Any help would be great. We leave in less then a month.

You must have tickets (or confirmation numbers for ordered tickets) that can be connected to your MDE.

What we get our vouchers that we then turn it at the ticket office the first day we go to the parks because they need to confirm military ID/eligibility. Will the vouchers alone work as confirmation of tickets and allow us to book FP+? That's assuming they renew the salute option for tickets for next year since we are not going again until January, 2015.

So when we get the military salute ones - the 4 day - it is a voucher, and you think you can plug in that # to access FP+ (30 day out access)? If true, can someone confirm when they do that?

I scanned our military 4-day parkhopper vouchers as soon as I got them, which was about 90 days from our visit. I scanned them just like you would when scanning a check to deposit into your bank account via your bank's app. Once MDE recognized the vouchers, I could link them to our account and design our magic bands, which were mailed to us 30 days out. Once at the park, we went up to Guest Services, they scanned our magic bands and verified my military ID, and we were good to go (no need to bring the vouchers with us, which is good, because I didn't have them at the time).
 
I have a copy of my Military 4 Day Hopper Salute tickets. I have a MDE account already. The instructions i got from SOG to link my tickets is vague and everything im trying is not working. I'm sad! Please Help! Thanks!

From your post I take it you are looking at buying your tickets at Shades of Green? Is there any base around you where you could buy your Armed Forces Salute tickets before your trip? If so, once you have the voucher the MWR/ITT office gives you, you would be able to use the info on that to link your tickets in MDE and then schedule FP+.

If you do not have access to a base, I suggest contacting Shades of Green. Their phone number is 1-888-593-2242 (it's a generic number, select the option for attraction tickets). On their FB page this past weekend, they mentioned that they can now send out order forms for tickets so people can purchase the AFS tickets from Shades before arriving in Orlando. I'm not sure if they are doing this for all AFS-eligible people, or if they are only doing it for guests of Shades of Green, but the attractions ticket office would be able to answer that for you.

You can do one of two things:

1. Enter the long string of numbers/letters on the back of the vouchers into your MDE account where it says Link Tickets.

2. Scan the back of the voucher with your smart phone while in the MDE app under Link Tickets.
 
Thanks so much. We will be there in less then 2 weeks and the closest base is an hour away. With Easter don't think we will get down there We do normally buy the tickets at shades of green. Glad to know you do not have to take the vouchers to customer service now

Definitely contact SOG and see if you can "order" them before you arrive. From what I gather, SOG will e-mail (or fax?) you a copy of the back of your tickets, which has the information you need to enter the tickets into MDE. Once your tickets are linked in MDE, you can select FP+s before your trip. You'll still have to go to SOG to pick them up (unless SOG can guarantee they'd arrive to you early enough if they mailed them), but it would allow you to prebook.
