Military Ticket Question

Hoping someone can clear this up for me. We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 children). We are looking to have 7-8 days in the parks.
We can buy mil hoppers but they are only good for 4 days. My thought is that we can buy 8 and cover all days for the 4 of us. Now, I know that you can only buy 6 at a time, and only activate 6 at a time. Would it work if DH bought 6 now, then 2 more later and if while down there, we activated 4 tickets for the first 4 days and then activated the rest on day 5? It just seems like unless you are only going for 4 days, the discounted tickets don't matter b/c you'll still end up having to buy park passes from WDW? Does this make sense, and would my scenario work, or should I just buy tickets from AAA (at a smaller discount)?

As far as I was told and understand, you can only activate 6 tickets in a calendar week, 12 tickets for the life of the promotion.

I have heard of people that bought 6 tickets for 3 people and used them back to back, but don't know for certain if that's allowed/authorized.

But, the ability to use and activate the tickets has been debated much around here!

The "issue" is that no one really knows
The perfect example is right in disneys rules...
Member can purchase Up to 12 tics as long as no more then 6 at once
Then it. Says you can participate as man times as you want, ie get more then12
This issue has been discussed and so far I don't think anyone really knows for are what's correct

Bottom line, I wouldn't buy more the the 4 you need and know you can use off Disney site
The cost of tax buying extras a Disney is better then the lose it you buy on base ad can't use them
