Military Ticket Clarification

Not sure if this was said, I just found out and am taking advantage of its but if you are booked under a military rate and staying at a Disney Resort you are eligible for a dining plan. You do have to pay for the dining plan, but it is a good investment depending on how you eat.

Yes, I have a Military Dine package for the Fall. It's a ticket-less package, in comparison to regular Disney packages with dining which require minimum ticket purchases for everyone in the room. Those with APs can also book ticket-less reservations with dining.

Thanks for posting the info for those who aren't aware of this. At one time I was a Disney newbie and learned a little at a time. The Disboard posters really taught me a lot.

It made me mad, I'm an AP also and never knew I was eligible on both accounts for the DDP, it's great to know now, and thinking of how much we spend on sit down and qs, it does help out for us! Glad you knew about it!

Just as a thought for some. Sea World offers four free tickets for military families. Maybe one day could be spent at this park as well to help fill up your week.

Wanted to clarify this... The SeaWorld promotion is only for ACTIVE duty military and up to three dependents with ID. Retirees do not qualify. Also, an Active duty family with more than three dependents will need to purchase additional tickets. I recommend visiting your base ITT office for those, as it will save you $20+ per person over buying them at the gate.

This promotion is also good for Busch Gardens in Tampa, but you can only do one or the other, once per calendar year.
