I know this question has been beaten to death, but I need help!

We are trying to figure out if we qualify for the Military Salute offer. We seem to be in the "gray-area" as to the requirements. Who/what is the best number to call to get help with this?
Everyone just reads us what the disneyworld.com website says, and can't answer specific questions. We just called Disney Guest Services, and the guy said he didn't know much about the offer and he wouldn't transfer us to anyone, but would only read what everyone else tells us. The same thing happened with a travel agent we've been working with. And the person at Shades of Green would only tell us about offers concerning their resort.

Please help! Thank you!

Try checking with your closest MWR Travel office. We used the salute program in May and bought the tickets at the travel office at Fort Leonard Wood. We then had them activated at the ticket window once we arrived at Disney World. They asked for ID but that was it.

Your travel office should know if you qualify. Hope this helps.

Basically, if you have a current military ID card, a CAC or a retiree, 100% disabled or spouse 1173 (1) from one of the 4 branches of the military (+ coast guard), you should qualify for this offer. If you only have DD form 214 you do not. Only the service member (current or retired) gets the free ticket. But the spouse can purchase the companion tickets and/or reserve the room with his/her card.
