Military Room Discount?

Is the military room discount 40% off across the board, or does it depend on resort level? I know we had 40% off at Wilderness Lodge last month. Looking at possibly booking a moderate for August and was wondering if its 40% off at the mods or is it a lesser discount, like 35%. Anyone know for sure?

I really don't feel like calling the Disney line and going through all the hoopla just to get to speak to an actual person! Hope someone here can help!

Back in 2010 I think it was 40% off across the board. We stayed at POR and CBR that year and got 40% off at both resorts. I thought I had read recently that it's more of a tiered discount now, but wasn't sure. Now I know! Thanks again.

Interesting, because when we went in 2009 & 2011 I'm nearly positive that it was tiered the same way it is now. Maybe it is just how they write the contract each time??

I am almost 100% positive we had 40% off at the mods in 2010, but I've been wrong before!!!! LOL. It's all good though, a 35% discount at a moderate resort is still a great offer for military families. So glad they are still offering these discounts!

I just did a little digging, and you were right. It looks like they changed to the tiered pricing in 2011.

Oh good, my mind isn't as far gone as I was starting to think!

We go so often that I figured maybe I was not remembering the trips and discounts correctly. When you go so often it can get hard to keep track of what discounts you had on which trips. Thanks for the help!
