Military Room Discount & different check-out day

We plan on booking 3 rooms using the Salute to Military room discount, 1 room for my family, 1 for my brother's family and one for my friend's family. I know that we all have to CHECK-IN on the same day and my husband will show his military ID. No problem there, but can someone check-out on a different day from us? I've done some searching but can only find the details about the military person being present and checking in on the same day, but nothing about all 3 rooms have the same length of stay. We are staying 7 nights but my brother and his family only want to do 5 nights.

Anyone have experience with this?

I presume you are staying at a Disney hotel and not Shades of Green?

Sorry, yes. A Disney hotel. Right now ASM but that may change.

As above I don't think it matters at the Disney hotels, however, at SoG i think the eligible service member has to be there at checkout and check in.

We have done this before, and only the check-in date matters. Check out date can be totally different.
