There are 4 adults and 1 child going to Universal this next weekend. One of the guys going is hired full time for the US National Guard. I have read that he can receive a 5 day pass free and up to 5 friends or family can receive the pass for $50.00 pp. Is this for real? Will we have any problems? This is our 1st time going to Universal so I am a little skeptical! Will the price for the child be $50.00 also? How do I get this special rate? Thanks for your help in advance!!

We did it this summer............ It is for real!!!!!!! Only, we used my oldest son's ID, his dad (my - ex ) is active duty, but was out of the country........... a service member, spouse, or dependant, with a valid, ACTIVE duty ID card can buy the tickets.......... so, my son ( a dependant) bought the tickets. ALSO, my current husband bought AP's for us too. BUT, it is for real, and it does work........... but you all have to be there together when he purchases them, and they are 5 consecutive days. Have a good time.
