Military/Govt Discount

So my mom will be on the trip with us, she works on an air force base and is a govt worker, so she has a CAT card and has access to most things military people do even though she is a civilian.

We already know she cannot by the special 4 day park discount, because that is just for active and retired military but it seems like she can buy regular discount tickets on base or at Shades of Green correct? If that is true what is the discount, I cannot seem to find out how much the regular discount is. We are looking at 3 day ticket with no park hopper included.

I've not heard of another military or government type discount other than the active/retired military tickets? Those are the tickets that are purchased on base and at SOG (and this year at the gate too I believe).

There are the Stars and Stripes passes and they also have regular discount passes. If you go to the Shades of Green website the prices should be there. Also militarytips.com has the prices of discount tickets. If she qualifies she can also check at the travel office on base.

Just checked and the prices of the regular tickets are adult, 3 day $257.00 and child $239.00. Stars and Stripes are for military members staying on property. The reg. tickets can be purchased at MWR or Shades of Green.

No limit that I'm aware of. And as far as I know, anyone eligible to stay at SoG can buy the Stars & Stripes passes if they are staying on-site, including DoD civilian employees.

Right, no tax if bought on base or at Shades of Green.
