Military discounts extended !

The military discount has been extended (code EVU) to Dec 25th.
I tried to get the discount for our room the first week of DEC at AKL. No Luck!!! Only rooms available are standard view at this time for AKL. Has anyone used this code at AKL for DEC? and for what level of room. Has anyone else been able to use this code in DEC for their rooms?

Thanks for posting about the Code extension, I will be calling to today to see if that will be a better rate than the AP rate I currently have at POP for Dec 17-23. I wish we could stay at a Deluxe this trip but we have extended family travelling with us and have 3 rooms and it isn't in the budget. Oh well there is always next time.

Does this code appy only to active military or will it work for the same group of people who have access to SoG? My husband is DoD Civilian - works in the Pentegon - just trying to figure out if this code would work for us.

The code from my understanding is for active duty or reservist that have been on active duty since Jan 2004. With your husbands status I would call SOG and ask if they have any overflow rates for the time you will be there for other resorts if you do not want to stay at SOG. We have not stayed at SOG since renovations. Before that we were very happy with our stays.
This time we are wanting to try another resort. When I called for rates the only options I found were for standard rooms.So I am wondering if any delux rooms were ever available for this code?
